  • Imagine how it would be to be bart of the courus @ 1:47 !

I would feel so mighty & powerfull!! :DDD

  • Riders of Theoden, Shakespeare will... I mean... SPEARS WILL BE SHAKEN!!

  • Comment removed

  • my nipples got hard around 1:47

  • DEATH!!!!!!!

  • Rohirrim Charge

    Orcs: SHIT! RUN!!

  • this carries an impossible amount of emotional value for so many people, i don't think music and cinema will ever achieve anything like this collaboratively again :(

  • @PhilboBaggins95 The Hobbit?

  • @warssuckletsparty i sure hope so!

  • listening with Turtle Beach X12's makes this sound awesome..:D

  • There has to be some french horns in this, right? I'm never good at deciphering instruments.

  • Those dislikes still only count as one!

  • i have realised that the Trombones play a big part in all the soundtracks or most

  • I loved the Orcs reaction the Roharrim charging at them. They are like Oh shit, what have we done...

  • the ride of the Rohirrim reminds me of the Polish hussars ride under Vienna

  • I just clicked on the snowflakes.... they melted away from the epicness

  • THE NAZGUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL, COVERRRRR

  • O.M.F.G

  • Epic battle!

  • How LOTR should have ended. Gandalf goes to mordor bitch-slaps Sauron then incinerates Gollum lights everyone on fire and goes home with the hobbits to the shire and becomes the new Sauron.

  • @EtheMinecraftMan Uh no...

  • @EtheMinecraftMan and how was gandalf going to bitch-slap an eye :S just weird reaction

  • @TheMrSiep Peter Jackson made that interpretation. In the extended versions Sauron is shown in his physical form on top of Barad Dur I believe.

Just saying when I read the books, I didn't think giant talking eye atop Barad Dur, but rather as a figure of speech.

  • @socomfan555 No Sauron is never shown in physical form in any form of the film. As to whether he had a physical form in the 3rd age i suppose only Tolkien knew. So its up for interpretation.

  • @socomfan555 You know that troll that fights Aragorn in the end? That was originally supposed to be the physical form of Sauron, but Peter changed it.

  • @Drallanator Its been a while, and I do not think I finished The Return of the King and if I did I really do not recall anything.

I'll be honest I saw the movies before the books, but even then I could not see where the PJEye thing came from.

I have planned to reread them again as well as The Hobbit or There and Back Again.

  • @Drallanator No... no it wasn't. -.-

  • @grublet13 ...I'm pretty sure it was...

  • @grublet13 ...I'm pretty sure it was...

  • I love when all the Rohan freeze in amazment and fear when they see the Haradrim and Theoden's just like "ok guys, now the ass kicking really begins!"

  • 2:53 I get goose bumps every time I hear... RUN ROHIRRIM!!!

  • A HUGE FAN FROM A SMALL COUNTRY !!

  • "Arise! Arise, riders of Theoden! Spears shall be shaken; shields shall be splintered. A sword-day, a red day, ere the sun rises! Ride now! Ride now! Ride! Ride to ruin and the world's ending! Death! Death! Death! Forth, Eorlingas!"

  • ADMIT IT,

if you went to the theater to watch this ( and if you did count yourself lucky unless you own your own cinema)

.....when Denethor gets whacked by Gandalf with his staff, you clapped.

  • Ride! Ride now! Ride now! Ride for ruin, and the world ending! DEATH!!

  • The only way for some one to dislike this is for them to have their computers upside-down and for them to be color blind so they get green and red confused.

  • Bart and Lisa defending their cardboard fort against the brown shirts ftw!

  • the nazguls have made a return, and they brought friends 0.o

  • wtf how can someone dislike this?!

  • I love this song, mainly because it feels like the final battle (even if it isn't)

It feels like all the work of the free peoples of middle earth and the enemies of middle earth's work has come down to this epic battle.

  • 13 Illuminati family's didn't like the fact that the great eye got owned...

  • Put epic music like this in the Hobbit and it is the best movie in 2012, maybe even more

  • DEATH!!!!!!

  • epicness begins at 1:43

  • My homework will now be sufficient to break the lines of Mordor, summon the forgotten dead that dwell in the mountains and bring peace to Middle Earth once more!

  • Arise! Arise Riders of Theoden! Spears shall be shaken! Shields shall be splintered! A sword day! A red day! ERE THE SUN RISES!!!

Ride now! Ride now! RIDE!! Ride for Ruin and the World AND DEATH!!

    DEATH!!

    DEATH!!!

    DEEEEAAAAATTHHHHH!!!!!!

    FORTH EORLINGAS!!!!!!!

I tell you now in all seriousness that nothing this epic may ever come around again in a film EVER.

  • @SinDawg030 and what about the hobbit then? ^^

  • @IstieFinegol ah, this was about a month before I saw the trailer! :)

  • @SinDawg030 you did it wrong.

  • @SinDawg030 Should be and the World's Ending lol

  • @SinDawg030

    It's more

Ride now!... Ride now!... Ride! Ride to ruin and the world's ending!

  • @SinDawg030 Actually he says "Ride for ruin and the world's ending.. DEAAATH!

  • @SinDawg030 dude i think you will have a nerdgasm when i say gandalf (sir ian mckellen)

went to my school bolton school

  • @nmomy115 He went to mine too (Sherborne), did a lecture, read the bit from the book with the Balrog IN CHARACTER, then I met him and got his signature. Small world huh?

  • "Ride now! Ride to ruin, and the world yonder!"

  • 1:47 Nazgul!!!

  • 13 people are Orcs.

  • @DarkSwan641 no 13teen people are trying to make another ring

    still orcs

  • @DarkSwan641 Damn Orcs!

  • @DarkSwan641 Chop chop goes the orcs.

  • I usually have 4 or 5 LOTR days a year :) best days ever.

  • @Malferter everyday is a lord of the rings day for me :)

  • love it!!!!! so much emotion !! awesome!

  • ALL OF THE FEELINGS

  • That orcish pike wall would've worked if they had had Mel Gibson as William Wallace on their side.

  • Well, time to choose map and teams!

  • 13 people got trampled by the Rohan Eored at the end of Two Towers.

  • Thats why I love Rohan, they will never quit the attack, not even if there are 20 Mûmakil attacking them. They are men of honor!

  • 1:47 Nazgûl...

  • ohhh epic^^

i was looking for this a long time

    thanks for uploading this

  • any1 know the name of the theme when legionas, the dude, and the dwarf are chasing the orcs that took mary and pippin?

it was like a running theme

  • @SnowLepord I'm thinking you are looking for "The Uruk-Hai" from the Two Towers Soundtrack.

  • epic

  • Begone, foul dwimmerlaik, lord of carrion!, leave the dead in peace!' :D

'Eowyn to the Witch-King in the original book'

  • Witch King of Angmar is the most badass villain in history

  • @ShockWave241 well you I gotta go with Sauron first, I think

  • @ppg141 well yes, but sauron is a ghost, a big flaming eye, the witch king is a fighter who ride a flying beast, that's why i prefer him to sauron

  • Wedge formation!

  • I love how small the "pikes" of the orcs in the front ranks were. XP

  • still my fav movie ever

  • The Witch king: COME AT ME BRO!!!

    Arwen: I am no Bro.

  • @Manlybros uhm...you mean Eowyn? :p

  • @DonCorleoneGR Yeah sorry.

  • @Manlybros you mean eowyn

  • @Manlybros It was Eowyn, not Arwen. Arwen is an elf, but Eowyn's a person.

  • @patisawesome1 Ah thank you!! I've been looking to see who is who... But thanks!

  • @patisawesome1 You mean a human? 'Cause Arwen's a person too. Just saying.

  • @TpRunelover2008 Yeah I guess that makes more sense lol

  • What song is the part with the epic drums that is in the movie. at 1:21 it is supposed to come what is the song called with that part?

  • DEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAATH!!!!!

  • *enter random prase from the fields of pelennor scene*

  • Ork Commander: "Form ranks you maggots, form ranks! Pikes to the front, archers behind!"

    ...

King Théoden: "Arise, arise riders of Théoden! Spears shall be shaken, shields shall be splintered! A sword day! A red day! Ere the sun rises!"

  • "That still only counts as one!"

  • "Eomer, take your éored down the left flank!

Gamling, follow the King's banner down the centre!

Grimbold, take your compagny right, after you passed the wall!

    Forth and fear no Darkness!"

  • @JustFlemishMe "Arise! Arise, Riders of Theoden! Spears shall be shaken! Sheilds shall be splintered! A sword day, a red day ere the sun rises! Ride! Ride now to ruin, and the world's ending! Death! Death! DEATH! FORTH EORLINGAS!!!!"

  • @LordFhalkyn "Reform the line! Reform the line! Sound the charge! Take them head on! Attaxk!"

Ah, isn't Lord of the Rings just great?

  • @JustFlemishMe Only the best. ;-)

  • @JustFlemishMe "Arise! Arise riders of Theodin!"

  • @EGIBDukeofWellington It's Théoden =) Sorry, guess I'm a freak =)

"Spears shall be shaken! Shoelds shall be splintered! A sword day! A red day! Ere the sun rises!"

  • "that's not bad for a pointy-eared Elvish princely. I myself am sitting prettily on 43!"

  • stupid orcses..never get tired of disliking!!

  • love how shore switches between themes, first rohan, then gondor, then orcs, then nazgûl

  • @imenz93 Your thinking is incorrect

Its "King of the golden hall" Then " Forth Eorlingas/March of the ents" Then a brass intro leading to The Nazgul's personal choir. Lastly, a triumphant phrase ends it.

  • @Sasuk3Gam3r sorry for not having elf ears

  • @imenz93 Forgot to mention all of the main themes are not from their main score, but are slight variations of their main scores

  • 0:08 - 0:20 always gives me goosebumps when i hear it and see the Rohirrim lining up to charge

  • 1:46-2:32 = Best Nazgul scene in all 3 movies.

  • waka

  • Sauron, the Ringwraiths, the Balrog, Saruman and Gollum disliked this video

  • GROND!

    GROND!

    you're welcome!

  • @illnathruleZ They do - I happen to be one of them.

  • @illnathruleZ I'm one of them and they do actually exist believe it or not. :D

  • @illnathruleZ yes, we exist :]

  • @mipocs yeah :D yay for us girls who love LoTR and have marathons with our friends ^^

  • @cartergirl3of3 I'm one of them ^^ though my brother always says ''you shouldn't be watching this, it's a boy's film'' i personally think lotr is for everybody :) just because it has fighting in it doesn't mean a girl isn't interested, it's better than those boring american romantic comedy's anyday :D

  • @cartergirl3of3 you're awesome, I highly recommend you to read the books

  • @cartergirl3of3 whoever said LOTR was dorky?

  • @Beldmort Oh I've heard it compared to "Dungeons and dragons" and stuff only admired by 35 year old men whose lives are consumed by conventions and still live in their mothers' basements. It's caught a bad rap amongst some.

  • @cartergirl3of3

If that is true then millions upon millions must be all 35 year old men living in basments lord of the rings is popular all around not just for "nerds" (which is stupid to say cause everyone is nerd for something.

  • @CrimsonStarStudios did I say it? no. I said I LIKED LOTR, why would I bash it? Go find that haters that don't like it

  • @cartergirl3of3

You misunderstand. I wasn't saying that about you I was saying the people you were talking bout are stupid for the reason I stated.

  • @cartergirl3of3 I can do it and I'm a girl! I spent my last saturday watching LOTR! (sorry for my english, i'm french)

  • @laal67 woohoo!!! another girl. Don't you just love it?and on a SATURDAY too, props :)) By the way, your English was just fine, I even thought you were English until you said French XD. I'm learning French right now, wonderful language.

  • @cartergirl3of3 thank you! I thought I'd done mistakes

  • @cartergirl3of3 *slowly raises hand* :) Been watching all the extras on the BluRay set while doing assignments. Oh.. and my 19th party will be LOTR theme...

  • @Samzenlol Niiiiiiiice....

  • @cartergirl3of3

    a lot of people

  • @jehannes1000 well...thy are wrong

  • i can recite this whoooollleee entire movie series. I LOVE IT!! and the soundtrack is flippin amazing!! gonna learn how to play these songs on violin and piano!

  • ARISE! ARISE RIDERS OF THEODEN! SPEARS SHALL BE SHAKEN!! SHIELDS SHALL BE SPLINTERED!!!! A SWORD DAY! A RED DAY! ERE THE SUN RISES!!!!!!!!! RIDE NOW!......RIDE NOW! RIDE FOR RUIN! AND THE WORLDS ENDING!!!! DEEAATTTH!!!!! DEATH!!! DEATH!!!!!

  • THIS IS EPIC!!!!! LEGENDARY!!! OUTSTANDING!! OMG!!!

  • i realy want lotr to be real , damn you technoligy! XD

  • 1:47-2:52 -The Nazgul wreaking havoc at a Justin Bieber concert and the hordes of fangirls scattering and shrieking in terror, and the Bieber himself is snatched up in the claws of the dreaded Fell Beast of the Witch King and dropped from a great height.

  • @ATMofAnubis ID love it if that happened.

  • 1:47-2:52 looks like the perfect soundtrack for a Latin or Greek test

  • I think Mordor was still a threat to Gondor. They were still fighting the same war. Besides, it wouldn't take that long for them to clean out Mordor.

  • @brodie7891 if he had kept them Mordor would'a been utterly destroyed by THEM ALONE... EACH one of the thousands of ghosts was stronger than a Nazgul itself - correct or not???

  • Why didn't Aragorn tell the ghosts to kill all the orcs in Mordor? Unless something happened in the book (still reading it) that explained why he couldn't, that would have been an easy solution for them.

  • @democrat1515 in the book the ghosts dont go to minis tirth aragorn in the books just needs them to get prince imhrals army

  • @democrat1515 ye i thought the same thing too. onece they got to modor they would pwn

  • @democrat1515 Also, Another Thing. Why Didn't They Just Get the Eagles To Fly Them To Mordor? That Would've Also Save them The Trouble.

  • @evilmonkey3656 This was addressed by Tolkien. The eagles were a very prideful race. JRR said he refused to use such a prideful race of creatures as a mere taxi service, even though their very fate rested on the success of these two Hobbits as well.

  • @democrat1515 This is adressed in the book, when Aragorn summons the dead-men to fight, they need only fight in one battle to pay their debt, they do this by defeating the Corsairs fleet, which is when Aragorn releases them, and at the Pelennor Feilds he fights with a host of Dúnedain rangers (forget how they get there but hey) And at that point their arrival boosts the Rohirrim's morale allowing them to win the battle. So yeah, hope that helps.

  • @tankmen93 The Dunedain rangers (along with Elohir and Elledan) acomponied Aragorn to the Paths of the dead.

  • @democrat1515 Well, apart from the fact, that it would be a pretty lousy story ending completely not-fitting with the essential idea of Tolkiens work (that the real decisive thing gets done by a "small" character, not a prince or a wizard, but by someone forced to do the necessary), it has probably something to do with the oath to Isildur they did not keep. I think that he probably asked them to help him protect the people of his kingdom, not to sweep all the wrong of his world away

  • I loved it when Gimli and Aragorn teamed up to kill Gothmog. Fucking epic, Nuff said.

  • what about side by side with a friend?

    -

    -

    aye, i can do that.

  • WMG are such mean people.

We just want to listen to some beautiful music and they take it away from us :(

  • @AdvaElecGamesYYG Of course...They are servants of the Dark Tower after all....

  • @TheIronChancellor1 XD that was one of the best comments I've ever seen actually :D

  • @TheBodytuning I usually search for "Immediate Music" for the genre, I don't know if it helps, but there are great themes listed under this genre, maybe you should check it.

  • Fajna nuta!!! Frajerami są Ci którzy nie przeczytali książki xD

  • Argh, does anyone know why it doesn't have the Rohirrim violin playing like in the movie? when they start charging, i've been looking for that version for months!

  • @TheBodytuning These cinematic scores are broadly classified under "OST" (Original Soundtrack) for movies ... You can try searching for the some well-known movie composers eg. Howard Shore, John Williams, Hans Zimmer. This type of music are also popular in video games... I enjoy those from Warcraft III & Tactics Ogre.

  • @TheDaramulum THX man

  • Can someone tell me pls what this music genre is called`? what sort of music is this`? i really like that voices that make me think of something giant like a battle or something. I want more of it but dont know what to type in in youtube or google.

    NEED HELP

  • @TheBodytuning Its called classical.

  • Runnnnnnnnnnnn ... They are Comminnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn !

  • When I got this soundtrack... I was disappointed as hell about this song... They left the best part out, where Theoden actually gives his speech and instead added pieces used when the orcs are attacking the walls... again, they left the best parts from those scenes out.

  • The 11 orcs who disliked this get to die again when I rewatch my DVD tonight.

  • I turn this on while having sex....try it
