Man God loves you more than you love yourself. But if you don't love him or know him, HE"S GONNA THROW YOU INTO A FIERY TORTURE CHAMBER FOR ALL ETERNITY..WOW!!!!
I left my old church because I disagreed with my old pastor on the teachings of tithing. I myself do not tithe and my Father in heaven blesses me and my family anyways. While researching the tithe and the church, it was revealed to me the real good news of salvation of all. I miss fellowship and singing with my fellow siblings, but I cannot in good faith go to any church that believes in the eternal torment doctrine.
The only church I attend is the house of god, it is my own private and personal dedication that I do whenever I feel like it. I dont think God ever wants us to praise and worship him because we feel like we must but because we want to with all of our hearts.
Amen! Amen! Amen! It actually makes me sick on the stomach to think I use to believe that God would do something like that. It is truly a very sad thing, because that is what the devil put in scripture. Keep preaching...
The religiouse system makes our Father's unconditional love conditional. It makes our saviour of the world a potential saviour of some. It makes our Father a monster instead of Just.
If people could wrap their minds around this, they would see that He is not going to throw people away, but has made a way through Christ that all will come back to Him.
1 John 4:8 God is love. 1 Corinthians 13:8 Love never fails.
Will God's love fail to save the whole entire human race?
The one who fears is not made perfect in love. A real true undeniable unconditional relationship can never be built on fear. Fear breeds confusion, jealousy, envy, strife, backbitting, faultfinding, etc Love on the other hand is patient, is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
The goodness of God leads man to repentance, not fear. A lot of people remain under the law, so the fear has taken it's place. Is their Faith in Hell(fear) or a Loving God? 1 John 4:18:There is NO FEAR in love. But perfect love DRIVES OUT fear, because fear has to do with punishment.
I made this video way back in the summer. Just now getting around to posting it. Hope you like it and if not I hope it makes you mad enough to think seriously about these things. Maybe even look up these references, get out your concordance and Greek dictionary, go to these suggested web sites. You will be hard pressed to prove this wrong; it's like trying to prove 2+2 does not equal 4.....
"Do you know where you are going to spend eternity? Don't leave this building until you do"
The strange thing is that when the religious leaders ask this question the people really DO NOT know where they are going to spend eternity - In their hearts there is doubt and they stay in that building doubting until they know where they are going to spend eternity
When they finally know where they are going to spend eternity just like you and me they leave that building and they do not return to it
To "bow down" before God is to surrender your self (sinful nature) to God that Christ might come and live His own sinless life in you - The first Adam bows down and invites the second Adam (Christ) to reign.
It seems like an oxymoron to worship God because we are afraid of what He will do to us if we don't - If we are scared of God then worship is not possible because worship is an expression of love and trust - How can we love and trust someone that we are scared of?
1 John 4:18 ~ There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
@TheSaviouroftheworld I don't understand this. The bible says that fear of the Lord is a good thing. So isn't fear of the Lord essential? I have allot of questions and this is one.
@moontooth - To fear God is to show respect and reverence for Him by crucifying our sinful nature. This is righteous, holy fear and it is good.
To be terrified and scared of a god who is vindictive and has prepared a horrible retribution for those who fail to come quivering before him. This is the kind of fear that "perfect love" casts out - Perfect love has no retribution in store but has made a way for us to put to death the deeds of the body and to be made alive in Christ.
@TheSaviouroftheworld : Very well said. This is something that is ever so conveniently never even broached by the clergy and theologians ("there is no fear in perfect love"). God does not want us to be afraid or terrified of Him. It's so common sense, yet, the elitist clergy and theologians can't stand the purity and simplicity of that statement so they feel compelled to tamper with it. Sad.
moontooth - Heb 10:27 ~ a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries
When our sin (adversary) has been crucified and we are no longer ashamed of our selves, the fear of God has worked in us to completion. After we have offered an area of sin up as a burnt offering to the Lord then we no longer anticipate a fearful prospect of judgement for the judgement has passed and perfect love has cast out the fear - The adversary (sin) has been burnt
@bkglamb - It has to be this way for a time - Because the genuine will fail to find satisfaction with the false and eventually they will get up off the ground and leave. Leaving church is very easy we have just been pretending that it was a hard thing to do because we weren't keen enough to really hunger and thirst after righteousness.
@TheSaviouroftheworld Exactly, and that's why you will never hear your preacher tell the truth of 1Tim. 2:4, or 1 Tim. 4:10. We need to be more concerned with God than church!

Hey Dennis - The spirit in which you speak feels like Jesus has been walking on the water and calming the tempestuous sea that is within you.
Do you get what I mean? Christ has been commanding the wind and the waves within you and at His Word they become still.
This is the vibe that you are giving off.
