  • cluster fuck

  • I hope nobody was hurt.

  • :D so many cars ...why ?

  • Damn, sure is alot of engines/trucks responding....

  • this camera makes it look to cartoonish

  • What part of Manhattan was this?

  • @TheOrganiston9th Midtown. West23 and 2 ave.

  • @TheOrganiston9th It is the part that was on fire

  • are new yorkers retarded? driving into a fire scene and getting in the way and then wondering why they got stuck

  • Heroic job. Thank you.

  • i live in manhattan and this is exactly how it would go down....everybody still thinking of what they're doing instead of noticing whats going on around them!!

  • yeah to hell with a high-rise fire!

  • thats nice people directing traffic instead of officers and i was at the fire i'm a FDNY firefighter ha ha i remember that to

  • W tak zatloczonych miastach policja powinna byc pierwsza w takich akcjach aby zablokowac ulice i zorbic objazdy tego miejsca. Tak aby straz miala pelny luz na dojechanie i postawienie wozow.

  • 100X100, fire on the 18 floor of a 22 story hi rise, 1 is the street, 2 is the street, 3 is a 4 story detached, 4 is a detached commerical, primaries are in progress, lines being stretched, the status is doubtful K.

  • If I recall, this would be a 10-76, hi rise fire which would be a 3rd Alarm assignment to the box.

  • Incredible! There is a working emergency scene and people only think about to pass the crossing with their car... This is New York live =D

By the way... FDNY did a good job, as far as i can see on this vid.

Stay save brothers and always come home healthy!

    Greetz from Germany

  • thats a good high rise worker

  • great response time=great job fellas :)

  • GOD BLESS FDNY!!!!!!!

  • Anybody else notice the people who have cameras when stuff like this happens are the biggest bunch of unsteady frigging spazzes on the planet?

  • @jacobeast1 The excitement can make your hands a bit shaky, I know from experience...

  • Much respect FDNY

  • @MtaBus your welcome :-)

  • YOU IDET YOU ON AA SCARTA IN A FIRE IT COULT MOVE

  • Jesus this camera man SUCKS KEEP THAT DAMN CAMERA STILL WILL YA !?!?

  • @Johnny64ism Thank you!, well at least someone freakin is on my side!!

  • Routine. The best in the world.

  • here in the netherlands, we call this a 'grote brand' (big fire).

I think there would go around 3-5 engines and 1-2 ladders to something like this.

  • @MrRubendeRuiter We would give in Holland a compagnie alarm for this. Means at least 8 engine's and numerous other supporting truck would respond.

  • Everytime i watch this it makes me feel so good that you guys are on the job....

and i don't even LIVE there...

  • 15th floor ----not good.

  • @Zugvogel1 That's why Rescue 1 was brought in.

  • @denelson83

How long is the Ladder that is there... ?

  • @Zugvogel1 Probably only about 30 m.

  • @Zugvogel1 100ft

  • Damn can somebody dispatch a police car for traffic control!!!!!

  • @DamianWinston That appears to be 2nd Avenue & East 23rd Street which are two major intersection within the Borough of Manhattan so it's pretty busy Manhattan is very congested

  • @IndependentPoet Ok. In Baltimore on any box the streets get blocked off so that no cars run over supply lines or block ire vehecles from gettin on scene

  • Хлопці, як вас в Америку занесло?)

  • @shtolol YAkos zaneslo...

  • @BARKHATOV83

    красава

  • Good job on the knock down, I don't get the random positioning of units though...I would've thought they would block off the side where the fire building is first so traffic is not driving through the scene.

  • ill take 100 hundred private dwelling fires before i take a highrise fire

  • they just keep coming (the fdny im talkin bout)

there linke an army... what floor was the fire on

  • That is really sad

  • I will never understand why NYPD cannot redirect traffic around a working fire. In most nyfd clips I see this problem. Maybe someone from NY can explain

  • @jmik50 Because they don't do this. It's up to the Traffic Unit.

  • @SGTRaffaele Thanks for clearing up who has the responsibility!

  • @SGTRaffaele Really? Then why do they even respond?

  • @azul8811 because there must be the police

  • @SGTRaffaele To do what? To park on the hydrants and block out the Engine Companies, or to block out the Ladder trucks from proper placement around the building?

  • @jmik50 im a APO and they dont really want too as a MOS they want too do other things but they give the job too either APOs or TEA traffic

  • @HelloHansSolo hellohanssolo......its easy to criticizes from the comfort of your mommy and daddys basement, lets see you do better asshead

  • I work for Toronto Fire Services, and this would be at least a 4th alarmer.

  • @R115 What does that mean?

  • @R115 why?

  • @TomTheGrom226 LOL cuz thats 15th floor!!!

  • Good Job...

  • @lupo23 thx man !

  • You right..
