  • Shit son, the tracks he laid down for the Whites of WV make him a true icon. I have always been a rocker, but love the few in country who carve out their own path. This dude is one of the few that has the real feel to him. Rock on, you crazy mutha!!!

  • Y'know what? People say "he isn't the same as Hank" or "he's making a living out of his grandfather", well I don't care. To feel that there's one person still walking around with the blood of Hank flowing through is veins, that looks like Hank and sounds like Hank makes me feel damned good!

  • hell yeah hank 1 & 3 are the shit. Not much for Jr.

  • i love hank sr's songs hank jr is good just dont have the same voice like he used to nd hank 3rd i never listened 2 but i realize he is doin wat his granddaddy did i think they all had the problems that caused hank sr. 2 leave this world that young

  • hank i - genious, hank ii garbage, hank iii does his GD proud!!!

  • He is the pride of his grandpa...looks and sounds just like him. nashville is full of politics and favors as well. He never got the respect he deserved. Shameful

  • Robbie calls today's Country Music "Corporate Country." If you love good ole time Country look up Robbie Faulks "Cigarette State" on Youtube.

  • much better than jr

  • hank sr legend - hank jr shit hank iii not bad

  • I just recently discovered Hank The 3rd and I must say at 21 I've listened to His grandfather's music since I was young, he's one of my idols and Hank 3 is the spittin image of the man, and the voice is nearly identical. this artist has honestly made his grandfather more proud then hank jr. not sayin jr. isnt a good artist but jr is nothin like his father, however hank 3 and hank sr.. I got a feelin they'd be pretty damn close to each other

  • Hey, hobowalker1, thanks for the response. I totally agree about the listeners of today, but I don't include them in my reference. There are people still alive, like me, who would listen to country more if it was more country. We aren't in the majority, attrition having reduced our numbers, and we don't spend as much because we don't have it. Most of us love Dolly and Reba and George Strait sounds, as close as we can get to identifying with the artists. No problem, youth leads to age.

  • @Agrace39 "youth leads to age" - there is no truer of a statement... but I think that old country will come back, sort of like Dwight and Geroge brought it back in the late 80' and early 90's

  • @laslos3 Im bringing it back, by god. Im trying to start me a classic country band right now

  • Hank III just doesn't sound like he really has hurt enough yet. Sr. was a tad slower and more like he was into the words and feelings. You can tell it's Hank the 1st when it's more comfortable to tap your foot to the beat. Hank III has the yodel down, and some of his covers are mighty close, so maybe it's possible he will kick it back a notch and deliver that "pitiful, mournful sound" that always marked country heart songs. The best would be if he wrote as well for today's country listeners.

  • @Agrace39 Hank III may not be your cup of tea but, is alot of other peoples. Wrote for todays country listeners? Todays country listeners listen to a bunch of shit from artists who dont even live country, drove a tractor or worked hard labor in their life.

  • Oh yea, very awesome video my friend, have a really super day

  • My father's idol was Hank Sr., and dad would sing these songs for hours. Hank III does his grandfather proud I'm sure.....great music

  • Good upload, Thank you!

  • @CountryRebel2284

I thought it was the right thing to do.
