The picture of the album, above, was a fake, made up and given to the girls by Marvin Gaye. There was no such album, but there is a concert on "Where Did Our Love Go" Fortieth anniversary edition, which contains "Where Did Our Love Go" and "People" with Florence sharing the lead.
this is from a live album the Supremes recorded with the above cover art but it wasnt released. instead bit Of liverpool was issued.i would have preferred this album.check out Supremes live 63. also parts of the live tracks came out on the 2000 bos set with a specail disc 5 supremes live, some on the 40th anniversary WHERE DID OUR LOVE GO CD with many out takes from 1964
This is good but the studio recording is absolute perfection ... and that shot up to number one ... while setting the pattern for the Supremes' elevation to the top of the charts ... and that's where they stayed for many years ... no wonder considering how every song was FABULOUS!!!!
Any idea as to the personnel here? That sounds alot like Benny Benkamin with those extremely heavy drums. I believe the Funks were still on the road occasionally at this point.

Thanks :)

Seems stupid this was never released, As everyone can tell, they actually sounded better live. How many groups of today can actually say that?

Really nice performence.
I think I heard this "where did our love go" performence one time before.
Anyway thx for posting =)
It's only a little bit sad that flo is so much turned down it's really arduous to hear her.
But you can really hear Mary's alto =D and that's nice
