  • I do lunges, but never considered doing them in a multitude of directions like this. I can't wait to try it, well I kind of can since I know it is going to wear me out, but it will me worth it. :)

  • lunges are a great exercise. just be sure to warm up your legs before hand with light exercise (biking) and remember when performing your lunges, knees always behind toes, abs tight, back straight.

    proper techniques will result in greater strength and stability. In turn reducing risk of injury.

    work those legs people, whether you're trying to become the next Brock Lesnar or the next contestant on The Biggest Loser, quality leg exercises will increase the quality of your life

  • It means don't overextend beyond your toes, ie. your knees, when looking down, should not be in front of your toes, they should be in line or behind your toes. This is to prevent excess strain on the knee joint

  • lunges are the base leg exercise for most MA styles, like karate, kung fu, tkd etc.. if it is true that it is bad for knees, that means the great grand masters of these arts were fools.. and u, who heard this or read this in some forum and with some experience of mma, have more knowledge of body mechanics..

    quite strange..why dont u people stop making such comments without doing extensive research..??

  • lunges are not bad for your knees, only poor form is bad for your knees. so if your not doing lunges due to the fact that you heard somewhere that they are bad for the knees, you should really talk to a proffessional and stop trying to figure it out for yourself.

  • i do this as part of a 5x5 circuit, please tell me why this wont be good for my wrestling shot.. and lunges are not bad for your knees as long as you're stretched. doing any exercise improperly is bad, so when you tried this for the first time without stretching and fucked your knee up, it was just because you're a fat sack of shit that hardly moves from his computer chair. save the mma tips for your little sister you pretentious ass.
