I do lunges, but never considered doing them in a multitude of directions like this. I can't wait to try it, well I kind of can since I know it is going to wear me out, but it will me worth it. :)
lunges are a great exercise. just be sure to warm up your legs before hand with light exercise (biking) and remember when performing your lunges, knees always behind toes, abs tight, back straight.
proper techniques will result in greater strength and stability. In turn reducing risk of injury.

It means don't overextend beyond your toes, ie. your knees, when looking down, should not be in front of your toes, they should be in line or behind your toes. This is to prevent excess strain on the knee joint

i do this as part of a 5x5 circuit, please tell me why this wont be good for my wrestling shot.. and lunges are not bad for your knees as long as you're stretched. doing any exercise improperly is bad, so when you tried this for the first time without stretching and fucked your knee up, it was just because you're a fat sack of shit that hardly moves from his computer chair. save the mma tips for your little sister you pretentious ass.
