I love the almost Ancient Egyptian-esque sound that the Duduk is able to produce. I know it's Armenian, though. Really love this piece in particular, the movie had good music but this was easily my favourite.

It's very hypnotic. But then, Ancient Egyptian-esque music has that effect.

I'm totally excited about the idea of a wind instrument on which you can play two voices at once (apart from bagpipes that is), especcially to produce a constant groundtone like Tomnes does here. So many wonderful things could be possible with that!
