  • Texas A&M WHOOP!

  • Nothing wrong with a jeep that Dana 70/80 axles and Cummins power can't fix.

  • You guys are comparing your Chrysler to a Jeep, you're nuts, AMC produced the last "JEEP" they've not been the same since, back when it was simple and user serviceable, today's is a yuppie mall crawler!

  • @Maples01 Before AMC it was Kaiser then Overland Motors. But American Bantam was the original designer. But they built very few during ww2. It was so important they couldn't make enough so Ford and Willis Motors made them.

  • @Auggie56 Nope, Bantam had the design, but was going bankrupt, they hoped the government would give them the contract to save them, but Willys got it because the gov knew they could keep up. The gov made Bantam hand over their design to Willys, the only Bantam military GPV built was the one to take to the competition for the contract. Willys had to share with Ford, to keep up with demand, but Willys would retain the right when the contract was over. The rest is history!

  • Thanks a million for posting, great history of a real American icon. My 05 LJ ranks just behind God, country and family.

  • @joesphx19 No problem, my pleasure and my honor to remember the history. Check out my website listed in my channel for more!

  • @joesphx19 - Nice to see others that respect the history. Love my rubi.

  • Very cool. Love Jeep history and drive one every day.
