No, my wife (a member of the Oneida Nation) and I are Co-founders of Religious Americans Against 'Indian' Nicknames & Logos (RAAINL) and advocates for the position of 100-plus American Indian and other organizations and many religious denominations and groups that oppose such nicknames in athletics, especially in an educational environment. It's sad that a Catholic school such as San Beda College engages in a practice that the United Methodist Church calls "a blatant expession of racism".

Trying to trivialize legitimate concerns of another race of people as tukmolbeho did is common. Yet, if it was reversed and it was tukmolbeho's race or culture being stereotyped by a school in another country, tukmolbeho would squeal like a stuck pig. Tukmolbeho, are you ok if U.S. schools start making fun of people and cultures of the Philippines?
