simon from xtreme ford tuning in perth has just had his hands on one i believe and it has run 333rwkw and this dyno dont tell no lies, and as he put it like cutting one blade of grass on a football field he VERY quickly gave it a tickle and it ran 355rwkw,no in depth tuning what so ever and an auto at that,good luck HSV you may have to supercharge ya 6.2 to compete now lol!!!great job FORD/FPV

Samsgarden, rome was`nt built in a day, they just spent 40 mil on the supercharged engine, i would suspect the next major update will have some tweaks and cosmetics as for the X factor , take one for a  drive ;).

I hope one day Ford return to adjustable rear head rests. It just seems very pov pack, the 2 little humps. Little detail I know.

I think I would rather get the current XR8 290 and add an aftermarket blower kit

Then you would have a 5.4L Supercharged falcon for a buy price lower than a current GT and it would know doubt push beyond 335kw

Bear in mind the 335kw is factory output, probably very conservative for emissions and practicality. No doubt you'll see these 5L belching out massive power when people start tinkering with them imo

I notice this update hasn't received an awful lot of attention. The engine might be nice but Fords and Holdens don't impassion people anymore (except tradies and bogans) Where's the X factor ?

There's already an R&D car kicking around one of the tune houses (can't say but is in Vic) - cat back exhaust, 9 pounds and run in tune realised 364.88rwkW with over 740Nm.

Awsome torque curve and if the box hangs in there should translate to high 11's.
