In the video, output was about 600rwhp range on a very conservative timing map. Currently it's putting down around 720rwhp@32psi on E85 on a more aggressive tune. I need to upgrade to the 6spd supra manual trans very badly. The built auto is starting to slip and it's also robbing away close to 100hp of my power! The car is going to be torn down and rebuilt in the coming months. Aiming for around 1100whp-ish without nitrous on a built 3.4L stroker motor. Drag radials full time will be a must lol!

That would be me, and the 2-3 shift is delayed because the valve body needs to be pulled out and recalibrated. Theres just too much delay in the 2-3 shift right now. I could let off the gas for 2 sec and get back on, but I would fall out of boost...so I just keep in it lol.

that kind of makes sense but shifting at high rpm you will only take a brief moment to get your boost back i think shifting properly in the end would be better for the car but hey, its your car, do as you please. But if its an auto by all means stay on the gas

Keep in mind this is a rather large turbo. Not your typical Honda sized one. If you fall out of boost, you're waiting another 1.5 seconds to reach full boost again lol.

If the tranny is still at stock line pressure running factory algorithms then it will never shift fast enough not to hit rev limiter. Factory trans was not built for a motor that revs that quickly with that much power. I'm sure even if left in "D". Same thing would happen in my automatic talon during the 1-2 shift which was running 10.8@128mph in 1/4.

And I realize its a large turbo but in your higher revs it should not take 1.5 full seconds to reach full boost again, pushing over 4K rpm it should be less than a full second to get to boost and that will save your engine more than running it off the limitier. But to each their own
