  • He's right!

  • Windows Vista is shit! Get Windows 7 or Mac OSX! MUCH BETTER!

  • the ideas are the ripoff!

  • дибилизм

  • @alexanderfokin how do you do that?

  • ... LOL

  • OMG ROFL..... upper right (MAC) and lower left(VISTA) not the same thing atalll.... CAN'T STOP LAUGHING....

  • The answer is simple people, he's been payed to say all that stuff...

  • @filippo333 dude he is joking, learn to take a joke

  • holly shit he is retarted

  • Everyone, relax. He's being sarcastic. -.-

  • Everyone, relax. He's being sarcastic. -.-

  • Every os "steals" from other oss. But why the hell should that be bad? I mean why shouldn't a computer user, who realised that mac suckes, be allowed to use the GUI of mac on windows, and then realise, that windows also sucks, which leads into getting linux, so he's having the GUI but just better AND a good system.

  • vista sucks so hard. I hate it. Get a mac!!!!

  • LOL, GUI is the only thing MAC users realy know about. Any windows is entirely diferent to MAC, totaly not incompatable OS System no matter what GUI SKIN or Version. This is not an argument, this is fact

  • @Neojhun Well, one thing I've learnt is that when someone types MAC (in call caps) when talking about Apple's computers that person usually don't know what he/she is talking about. Seems to be true for you too. ;)

  • @staraffinity Stop you BS nit picking, yes i get M.A.C stands for Media Access Control. But capatilising words is just how i highlight things. I know exactly what i'm talking about. I probably have more IT experience and qualifications than you. This is a youtube comment, not a thesis.

  • @Neojhun Since you had other abbreviations (GUI, LOL) in there it didn't look like ”highlighting”. And what I said is still true I think, mostly the people who type MAC (when they mean Mac) have a very strong opinion about Macs, but they usually have little insight in the subject (prejudice). Your comment about ”Mac users only know GUI” definitely sounded like that. Also strange of you to judge my IT experience, based on... nothing. And remember, I put a smiley at the end, not too serious.. :)

  • Do u think i would switch to MAC! bcoz windows doesnt has that magic! search bar!!! or that chess game! or that photo viewer feature that i never use! or .....

all this shits i can eazly find them 4 FREE without Microsoft have to impalement them with windows dude!

this is simply NOTHING comparing to what windows has n mac doesnt

  • well considering microsoft created there own os from scratch and apple uses a variant of unix (first created in 1969 by at&t) i think windows can borrow a few ideas from apple, especialy after MS gave apple 150 mil dollars to keep them alive, that pretty muc gives microsoft a pass to do what ever the fuck they want :P

also ios5 rips of mango so hard

  • another difference i noticed about the widgets of mac os x is that they occupies all the screen and the gadgets in windows occupies a side of the screen or the desktop.

  • love the constant sarcasm!!!

  • it's a total rip off

  • honestly, you cant play the copy cat who was first gig at all. Programs evolve of each other and markets develop first. Overall, Microsoft and Windows OS came first, but I don't see people arguing that Mac came about because of Windows. The only reason Jobs was able to create the Mac in the first place was because of the trailblazing already done by the PC (which debuted in 3 years earlier than the first Mac).

  • @bundle12 Ahem: Mac came first mate. ;)

    Windows: November 1985

    Mac: January 1984

  • @brodlum whoops my bad, wasn't specific there was I. was actually referring to MS-DOS (launched in1982... so 2 year before the Macintosh.) The mac did have the first graphical interface, which was the natural evolvement from original operating systems like MS-DOS. Which is what i was getting at overall, programs and systems evolve of one another to further the market. Sorry for the mix up :)

  • @bundle12 Well, there was the XEROX Alto before the Macintosh which had a Graphical Interface and I think Steve Jobs inspired himself thu this machine. But it was way less user friendly...

  • WIndows XP was all about simplicity and freedom to use.

Following the huge sales of XP (and subsquent piracy) Microsoft put in many barriers in order to curb piracy, like limited installs off one DVD, etc. To increase the security bar, they put in UAC or User Access Control. All this for the welfare of Windows OS, but it came in a gap of 5 years as well as with a high (or I may say very high)price, and thus proved no good for the customer as Vista was too sluggish, but everything's well with 7.

  • ahahhaha V for vista baby!!!!

  • The thing I don't understand is why the people commenting don't understand the sarcasm he uses and right at the end when he throws up the "V" and when he puts it up you can clearly see it's an X and the Tiger Symbol pops up so anyone who comments and says that he's not being sarcastic you sir, are an imbecile.

  • @IpH0n3BIACH

    You're analytical wisdom is astounding.

  • @DavidEdwardSchnell Thank you for that my friend because I feel tons better about myself now. :D

  • @IpH0n3BIACH

I need your help. What's the P stand for in XP?

  • @DavidEdwardSchnell xp stands for eXPerience

  • @teddyburners You might no this, but from your comment i cant tell, he's being sarcastic.

  • He IS joking right? I seriously can't tell...

  • @Yankeeboy254 Yeah he is.... he's being sarcastic XD

  • @TheLyricsGuy I'm sorry to say no

  • @adsrockstheworld He is. There is no possible way he is serious.

  • Is microsoft a sponsor of TheNewYorkTimes? I think so

  • X for vista

  • both osx and windows improve and learn from each other

  • @Brotasmo That is very true!

  • Start being less controlling of your software/music/pictures and I may use Apple. I have an iPhone with 4,000 photos which I can't move to itunes because of stupid restrictions. They are my pictures it was iTunes which crashed (not Windows) and after reinstall it is treating me like I stole the pictures and will NOT permit copy of MY OWN photos to my OWN PC. Also I use Windows 7 which has never crashed, has 10 times more available software to run on it, and is just fine. You are a jerk.

  • And... how much were you paid to say this?

  • i hope hes being sarcastic

  • this has to be total sarcasm.... he's usually cheesy but this is ridiculous...

  • X for vista baby

  • Vista is the best OS so far. I am tired of all the flack this operating system takes when absolutely NONE of its is warranted. Ive been running my install of Vista for 2 years now without a single SW crash. XP on the other hand out of the box i had to do a full format and install 3 times in the first 5 months of ownership

  • @avengful We have not got them in our office yet.

  • sarcasm <3

  • Just as Mac Leopard snow & linux ubuntu have great features and each is unique in presenting its own creative solutions I hope Microsoft will do the same. throughout years of using MS windows most users suffered the painful BSOD.

so far thumbs up for windows 7 when compared to its predecessors. Google the giant jumped in and presented its own OS which will spice the competition in the future, eventually "us" the end users will appreciate the best OS.

  • Comment removed

  • absolutely genius! from the beginning Microsoft launched the uncompleted stolen version of windows 93x in 1992-1993 after years of Apple success in that field and the stories goes on till today.

Well done Dave and thank you for saying the TRUTH

  • @bluewind12345 Why are you spreading lies? It's not moral.

  • @kleinmein86 win fanboy

  • @theandroinvader Smart customer.

  • @kleinmein86 BTW 1984 I was using both MAC & DOS 3.0 so very much I was there when all this happened, unlike you being sarcastic & ignorant.

100$ that you were not even born at that time

  • @bluewind1234 You can read my age in my profile so you can cut the "smartass" type of comments. The only guy that's sarcastic and ignorant here is YOU. All you can see in Wikipedia is that Windows was a project started in 1981 and announced in 1983. Windows are used by 90% of the world, whereas mac os by 5%. So even with a small time handicap, Windows won the competition. It's all about success, not who did it first.

  • @kleinmein86 why should care & read your age? I'm not saying which OS has more users or which is better, I use both. Microsoft scored big time in other fields, but if you feel its OK to copy other peoples work & get the credit then you score below zero on the moral level.

by the way why are you so defensive when it gets to Microsoft? and why you take things very personal? grow up

  • @bluewind12345 First of all drop that attitude of yours ("grow up","defensive" etc). Talk to your mother like that. Second, don't bet if you haven't done your homework. Third, there is no copying here. Just the mac fanboys developing some weird theories about microsoft copying apple. What would you expect from microsoft? make windows circular or something just for difference? Fourth, It's all about results. If microsoft was a follower (because you can't copy and lead) it would be doomed.

  • @kleinmein86 David has an opinion and he is supporting it, people should debate about it, but I find it very awkward how someone like you start replying to comments and use words like "take to your mother" ... answering you was a mistake

  • @bluewind12345 It is rude to send people comments such as "grow up", like you did. You could get punched in the face for telling that to someone you don't know in the street. So mind your attitude next time. David hasn't got an opinion. He's just targeting Vista. Many people think they're doing something by targeting successful people/products/companies etc. His comments about the search function and the chess are ridiculous! As for the gadgets, microsoft had them long before apple did.

  • @bluewind12345 "...but if you feel its OK to copy other peoples work & get the credit then you score below zero on the moral level."

Yes, you're right. By your implications Xerox should obviously have sued Apple for making people such as yourself believe Apple invented the GUI.

  • @LordDestros the main issue here, MS owns the biggest share in the market and they are leading -no doubt - so plain and simple if they have the all money and best programmers why don't they improve their OS and have their own identity. personally I think they can do a lot better

  • @bluewind12345 The same is arguable regarding Apple. Having the biggest market share doesn't mean they can easily change the identity of the OS; usually it means quite the opposite. If MS were to make any drastic changes, they could easily anger users (e.g. part of the reason Office 2007 or Vista received some of their criticism). On a related note, MS has the biggest R&D budget of the major software makers.

IMO however, the whole "ZOMG COMPANY X STOLE FROM COMPANY Y" debate solves nothing.

  • @LordDestros I totally agree that the debate solves nothing if we are debating who's got the first release of a certain feature and weather other competitors can use it. all in all I have to give credit for MS for windows 7 and recently explorer 9 beta.

that proves the point I had before MS can do much better

  • @kleinmein86 thank you! 1984 APPLE released its first operating system looks very much like windows, while Microsoft at that time they were working on there MS DOS 3.0 1984 (disk Operating System) released 1st time in 1981.

so I think what you are saying is true, APPLE must have invented the time machine to travel to 8 years forward (March 1992) and stolen the idea from Microsoft windows 3.1

this is all in Wikipedia NOT ME if you agree then THUMB UP

  • Umm is this a joke or is this guy really that dumb???

  • @bigjoesims It's obviously a joke..just look at the ending..he makes an X for OS X!

  • @Youzarzif Think again... he meant that Windows Vista and Mac OS X ar TOTALLY DIFFERENT

  • @mpmdzoomas That is what we call 'sarcasm'.

  • @bigjoesims dude, it's a joke. obviously. just look at the other videos.

  • @bigjoesims Did you not know??? When Mac crashes, there will be a popup and u have to press the power button to restart. While in Windows, they have the Blue Sceen when your computer crashes and will automaticly reboot your computer!!

  • @mpmdzoomas of course but when does a Mac crash? not very often. They had to make it restart automatically while in windows because it does it all the time...

  • Microsoft sucks a big ol' donkey dick. I love it when people defend MS and call Mac fans morons. I guess ignorance is bliss for them.

  • a rip-off is a thing that has a dif. name

  • i still love this video, cracks me up every time xD

  • dude, mircosoft has been copying apple for a longgggg time, apple has been earning money from mircosoft, mircosoft is losing money

  • @1Rockyboxer1

6.66 Billion Dollars of profit in Q2 2010 is losing money? Don't comment if you're only going to spew meaningless shit

  • @obesesoldier you don't believe me? look at google smartass

  • @1Rockyboxer1

Just look at Microsoft's earnings report for Q2 2010. 6.66 Billion. Apple made about 5 billion, so both are doing well. I did look at google, lol

  • he's on microsoft's payroll !!

  • hahahaha i hope he is being sarcastic

  • No wonder that the moron in this video is ignorating these facts. The idiots of New York Times are fucking Apple fanboys (and fangirls).

  • @MasterFeradon And I am not a Apple Fanboy, I only like Apple's Mac OS X, iMac, iPod but HATE the iPhone for being so overrated and overhyped.

  • @PinkMirrorKirby Good for you. :D

  • @MasterFeradon I hate Apple Fanboys for viewing their Computers/Phones to be superior, I think Windows and Mac OS X balances each other, and iPhone can't even do things a normal feature phone can do like changing ringtones or Flash support, and now iPhone 4 has antennagate issues.

I still love Mac, that's my opinion, but sometimes PC users bragged about how they have more games than us, which are really annoying.

  • @PinkMirrorKirby Yeah, there are Windows fanboys too, haha.

  • Apple has copied the widgets from Microsoft. Microsoft has released the Active Desktop in 1997 that can show contents from the Internet without using the browser. But it wasn't only that! Time Machine? Copied from Microsoft. Windows has that already since Windows 2000. It's called System Restore. :P

The GUI? Copied from Xerox. The iPod? Copied from Creative. The Magic Mouse? Copied from Logitech. The isolated design of the Apple Keyboard? Copied from Sony. Cheers.

  • @MasterFeradon Active Desktop only supports HTML widgets, Apple's Dashboard supports more than that.

And System Restore is from Windows ME, not Windows 2000.

Apple bought Xerox, so basically it's from Apple, Microsoft copied Apple's Idea of using a GUI operating system on a computer.

PC stole Apple's idea of using a mouse for navigating through Mac OS X.

Which Logitech mouse did the Magic Mouse copied from?

Actually it is Sony who is copying keyboards from Apple. :)

  • @PinkMirrorKirby 1. What are you expecting? It was from 1997. ^^

    2. Oh sry, it's really from ME.

    3. Apple never bought Xerox. Show me a source. ;)

    4. Which Apple copied from Xerox. :P

    5. PC? PC is not a company, lol.

    6. Yeah, Apple invented that.

    7. Look at the MX Air from 2008, they copied the design.

    8. Really? Look at the VAIO X505 laptop from 2003.

    9. And last but not least: there wouldn't be any progress without copying from each other. But I hate it when people say Apple is THE innovator.

  • @MasterFeradon 1. True.

    2. Don't worry about it.

    3. That source is sometimes unreliable.

    4. True.

    5. I meant Microsoft.

    6. That's one of the only innovative designs

    7. Saw that, looks alike.

    8. Looks like my Apple Keyboard lol.

    9. I couldn't agree with you more.

They copy a lot from each other, didn't they? But Apple likes to sue people, that's like bullying. :(

  • @PinkMirrorKirby So we both think the same, eh?

  • @MasterFeradon Yeah, I think, I still like Apple Products for it's beauty and stableness of the OS (Windows 7 is on par with Mac OS X) (Except the iPhone for being overated).

  • LOL!!! "ABSOLUTELY" :)

  • :D :D :D Haha V for vista baby :D :D :D

  • :-DDD! Now, how much money did he get for that???

  • rofl. i wanna know how someone who thinks that switching places where things are makes it complete innovation gets a job at the nytimes :D

  • Changing the position or name doesn't change the features. All of them do the same tasks which was introduced in apple computers long before. With this video it is NOT PROVED that Microsoft didn't copy ideas from apple. Its the same,no difference at all. They agreed that the calender program and those triangles are copied.Complete Rip Off.

  • Dashboard was here for a long time, Windows Vista/7 copied Mac OS X.

  • The fact that people take this guy seriously, and don't understand the sarcasm is funnier than the actual video (which itself is hilarious).

  • Wow, Microsoft, you do know how to create Original features, by not stealing ideas from Apple.

No wonder Vista is a great success.

    8D *Shot for Sarcasm*

  • if computers would be like humans, pc would be a fat, slow, ugly and retarded shit , wich couln't stand up if it falls. but mac would be fast, strong and smart, and it couldn't fall because it don't stumble like pc.

    Dashboard = side bar

spotlight is just in different place

widget's and gadget's are the same thing with different names, but everything work better on mac os x

ps. why even icon of white paper must be glossy in windows vista/7?

  • @potatojuice321 MAcs suk!!!!!! VISTA ALL THE WAY!!!!

P.S the icons look cooler like glossy!!!!

  • @animewizardstudios1 Have you even used a Mac?

Macs are much more stable than Windows Vista (Windows 7 on Par).

Macs also have iMovie which pwns Windows Movie Maker all the way.

I could go on and on..

  • @PinkMirrorKirby On the subject of Windows Movie Maker I understand that on W78 it has been removed and one has to get some freeware from the MSN site or soemthing similar. As a big user of WMM I am a bit bothered about this development. Now I am upgrading my computer and don't know what to do about the OS. That is why I am here. Is Vista really as bad as it is made out?

  • @alanheath2 Yup, Vista has lots of bugs and glitches, and it hogs memory too, Windows 7 is the better choice, Windows XP is too old and will cease updates on 2014.

  • @PinkMirrorKirby

but that still gives us four years!!

  • @alanheath2 Windows 7's updates will cease in around 2017.

  • i hate Macs. Windows Vista baby!

  • you must be working in mircosoft

  • mac sucks... a laptop with a pic of a fruit on it that costs $1500

  • @asianboyJhC Ok well now we know your just trying to make it sound more expensive by finding a MacBook Pro when there are cheeper ones for about $500 less. If you add up all the features on a Mac on a different computer you would come to around the same price, hey and with a Mac you don't have to spend hundreds of dollars on trying to fix or get you OS to run faster, but if you think it's a ripoff have fun with Windows

  • Dude, your arguments really suck and are so soft its not even funny.

  • windows vista was bad for laptops, bad for pc's at the time of the release, and downright stupid for netbooks. But, if you have a modern computer with decent specs, windows vista isn't as bad as it's reputation. Of course, windows 7 is better in every way, but i'm just saying that if you have a powerful computer running vista ultimate, you don't need to drop a couple ben franklins on windows 7 to "simplify your pc". However, windows vista is the reason macs are so popular today...

  • @psychoclown420 Thats true, my dad bought a 17" Dell with Vista Home Premium 32bit and hated everything about it but the looks. Hes now a Mac, just like the rest of our family!

  • @iJonny015 I think it depends on what you are used to. I use Macs at work occasionallly but prefer PCs.

  • @alanheath2 Thats true too. But I thin Vista was an epic fail. Its just ao horrible and the interface is so slow, awkward, buggy, cluncky, ect. And it freezes too much. I am constanly having to restard him computer becase a program like Windows explorer freezes and the windows just sits there and I cant minimize them or make them go away!!! You can throw 1 to 16 or so gigs of ram at Vista and it just will not work right. My dads laptop has a gig of RAM....

  • @alanheath2 ...and my sister who is the only one in our entire family that uses a PC (because their cheaper is all...) shes got 4gigs of RAM in her Visa laptop and its always freezing and crashing!!! I mean I thought she was just exaderating cause 4GB RAM is a pretty good amount but I tried it and it was constantly freezing and crashing!!! It seems like all my Dad and my sister ever do with their computers is scan for viruses, malware, ect. They never actually USE their computer that much.

  • @iJonny015 Excellent argument against Vista!

  • @alanheath2 And Windows 7 is pretty noce!! A computer with 8 gigs of RAM and Windows 7 64bit with a good processor (mabey just from thee 2.6ghz to 3.0ghz range...) runs sooo fast!!! I used a computer with that 2.4ghz and a 8gigs of RAM at Best but and I tried to make it go slow and it wouldent!!! I opened almost ever application on the thing!! My dad's laptop goes slow without really running anything (that doesent already run in the background)...you try to clik the start vutton and wait 5 mins!

  • @alanheath2 But yeah Windows 7 is great but I still like OS X Snow Leapord better. What a lot of PC people do is compare their newest version of Windows computer to a friend's older Mac computer and they think theirs is better which is usually true...but they just dont know what their doing and they know nothing about Macs or any of the versions of it's operating systems and they just make their opinion that Windows is better..becayse its what their more familiar with...its like home to them...

  • @iJonny015 I think we can expect people to like what they are familiar with! What I don't like with Macs is that there is only one button on the mouse - I find that really puts me off. I use Macs in the office sometimes but carry a PC with me and that is what I use for my main work.

  • @alanheath2 Actually Mac's have two mouse buttons, you just have to enable it.

Mighty Mouse had 2 buttons while Magic Mouse had 1 (You can set to have Right-click).

  • @alanheath2 Oh yeah I know...but thats with the older Macs...the newer ones make it a lot easier to right click. Like the Magic mouse, it has a right click function. The MacBooks have multitouch trackpads so you can click with 2 fingers and it will do a right click...or you can click with any finger in a certain corner of the trackpad and it will do a rightclclick. And you can plug in PC mice or keyboards to a Mac and it works perfectly. But yeah those old mice were annoying!

  • @iJonny015 That is so true, my PC Friends doesn't know how to start a program because it doesn't have a Start button. (LOL)

  • homo

  • Fantastic!

  • wtf is that

  • Mac is best

  • Dude, awesome!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I'm with Vista:)

  • ok, you rip off apple logo, but you put it in the other side of the screen, so this will be not rip off

  • sour grapes by the apple fans. I'm thirsty...

  • Mac OS has Smack a Mac / SmackBook 3D , and Liquid Mac...

Both of the new effect for the Mac are just a spin off of Compiz Fusion , and Beryl that is found in Linux , or BSD both had the 3D cube, and Liquid effects years before the Mac

  • @TheQuestioner132 I know but "find" has basically always existed in both OSs as shown in both Windows 2000 and Mac OSX 10.2. The difference is the ability to search from your desktop rather than Finder or "My Computer"

  • @themacbox You must be the most stupid person who lives today

  • @rowenawilliams1 You are talking about Windoze users, aren't you?

  • @PJBearstein Umm?? not really..

What your asking doesnt make sense because I am not talking about either (Mac or PC) I am saying that themacbox is stupid because he doesnt understand sarcasm.

  • @PJBearstein Yeah and you're one of those mac users who can't spell!

  • @xboxlive6 "Windoze" is how I spell "Windows." When you reply to my posts, be sure to capitalize proper nouns, you forgot to capitalize "Mac."

  • He argued by saying "Mac's is in the right upper corner, Windows' is in the lower left corner" It's like saying the spic murdered a guy on Broadway Ave. instead of Main St. The location doesn't make a difference.

  • @KingMacintosh Your analogy doesn't help your point in anyway it's actually quite pointless.

The difference shows how poorly they copied Mac OSX

  • Nice video!!

    !!!

FREE Apple MacBook! Giveaway @ my channel

Check out my channel for further info!!

  • When one tech company makes something that works well that people respond well to, like something as simple as being able to resize the thumbnails of pictures inside of a folder, then it is more or less imperative that others jump on board and do something similar to keep with the competition. OSX and Windows feed off of each other, and both take ideas of Linux/Unix/BSD. You don't say that Microsoft has taken every single thing in their OS from OSX, but that is what you're implying. They didn't.

  • @themacbox umm, he is making fun of microsoft and windows actually

  • this guy is an overpaid asshat

  • This is sarcasm, at it's best. Love you Dave!

  • @TheQuestioner132

Well I believe if you really want to get that picky ms-dos had the search command before that ...

My point is they all rip off one another... and we can go farther in to the past and we will find Microsoft made a lot of the software that ran the Apple II

and does anyone recall MkLinux ? MkLinux is an open source computer operating system started by the OSF Research Institute and Apple Computer in February 1996

Apple down the year played with Linux, and BSD...

  • Apple had widgets in 1984. Period.

  • @hans030858 Not technically it was simply just a "Calculator". Mac was all over widgets before Windows Vista Period.

  • @rowenawilliams1 Both Mac and Vista did widgets after Linux.

  • Hey David keep up the good work, you rock!!

  • gadgets Microsoft made Decktopx aka Verona Desktop enhancer 1999 and sideshow 2000 this is long before Mac had widgets in 2003. Microsoft just did include it as part of the OS, but Apple did.

Microsoft had WinFS search in 1996 but it was turned off by default. Mac / Apple Spotlight didn't come out until 2004...

So it looks like the only thing Microsoft may have copied is the way Mac looks, but not the software it's self.... and maybe 3D Chess.

  • @maw88ify I think it was more of a jog of memory for Windows but get you point. The polished finish was very copied off of Mac OSX

  • Comment removed

  • its still the same just in a different place

  • It's called "Sarcasm"

  • i agree.

  • I believe Longhorn had Gadgets before Mac...

Even Linux had Screenlets for years...

The search thing has also been in Linux for years, but it's doesn't have an active icon by default in many Linux...

  • Why can't people understand jokes these days? Can't you realize that he is being sarcastic through this whole video?

  • Well, people should be testified on sense of humor and tolerance before giving them internet access. It might help internet to become more friendly and safe place.

p.s. for other readers who is serious about my message: you've just failed your test for internet access :D

  • @nilleftw

    I can :D

but the true is that Microsoft wrote the code for mac and Microsoft owns the rights to it there for they didnt copy anything, just saying .. I get the joke though

  • @dende145 WTF???

" but the true is that Microsoft wrote code for mac"

What happened to the capital for Mac? Isn't it in important?

You know Windows coping it and all, you make it sound like Microsoft owns Apple or something

  • I didnt say that they own them im trying to say that they work together.

Also Microsoft owns the market and is a bigger company. That could be the reason macs are overpriced.

  • lol this dude amuses me...

    :D

  • this guy has no point

  • my favorite "Mac has it at the top and windows at the bottom". lol. Seriously though thanks for setting the record straight. I even noticed some Linux stuff showing in vista. What ever happened to Windows only hiring the best and brightest.

  • Man vista sucked! Ah, what a time to be alive!

windows 7 works better but its still ugly as hell IMHO. Im gonna keep rocking ubuntu for now I think. I like XP too though.

  • Are you kidding me?

Flippy triangles - oh no, what a copy right infringement!

Calendar programs - how can you make a calendar program look different, there both in the same physical calendar layout

Photo organization software - they are both just list of photos.

Search - Linux had it before all of them

Sidebar - Mac is only avaible in full screen

Chess - Apple doesnt have a coppy wight on the game.

Pogue, please just go back to reviewing remote backup services, oh wait, never mind.

  • MAC RULES!!!!!!!!!
