To get 100% sync on that mission, use 3 smoke bombs for each gate, to prevent taking damage or at the very beginning signal all of your assassins in as they will kill the frenchmen, use the smoke whilst closing the gate, and the assassins will kill the guards, and u get 100% sync.

Make big buildings that you live in or make a sky tower from only just a simple top cave. Mine to the depths of the earth using picks and nothing else than some ladders.
