good tutorial dude. i use fl and didnt bother to try vsts on acid because i use acid for my artist's recordings. bu tthis showed me how to add vsts and stuff. im gonna try when i get home. thanks a bunch

question:

I have a copy of XLN audio addictive drums, I installed it off the disk, and it installs fine, but it just doesn't seem to come up in my VSTI list in Acid Pro 6.0.

I have rescanned my vsti folders that didn't work.

I have re-installed, and that didn't work wither.

any ideas?

hey spazz I'm having a problem with my vsti in ACID If I press Ctl-Alt-3 and try to draw in a pttern it freezes and I have to restart the program and when I'm playing the instrument's solo they cut out terribly and eventually the computer freezes. I dont think it's a memory issue because I looked at the specs on my laptop and even with ACID and the vst's open it wasnt even using 25 percent of the total memory can you tell me why it's doing this? THANK YOU FOR KEEPING THE BEST MUSIC PROGRAM ALIVE

i have gsnap.dll and autotune.dll and when i put them into my vst file and then search 4 em in acid it will not find em? iv tryd putin em in dif files also.... help! plz :D

sometimes just having the .dll file wont work. remember auto-tune has several parts and wont work right if you dont fully install it.

im having the same problem wit Autotune 5 on Acid 6 and FL Studios 8. Have you been able to get yours to work yet?

try using an effect on your vocals. use a compressor. it should allow you to make it louder and also taking care of your distortion problem. alot of times its too much for the track to handle and distorts when it clips.

hey after i finish recording a track on acid 6.0 the verses sound really low the beat it fine but the actual verse that i rap on sound low and distorted is it my comp or my nic i have a 200 $ mic so i dobt its that unless its to powerful i tried turning the volume up it dont work can anyone help me out

a couple of quick newb questions, I have a stock soundcard in my pc, and make beats on the ASR 10. Instead of cutting and pasting samples and drums or what ever in acid, can I make the beat on the ASR and somehow route the instrument tracks from the ASR into multiple tracks in acid at once? Also, does acid come with keyboard sounds that I can send to my ASR ?

I have downloaded some dll's to try and input, and I have set the folders correctly in Acid. I can see that the files are being read, however they don't show up in the plug-in list, in fact nothing does. It will scan, but nothing shows up. Whats your thought on the problem? I'm using acid pro 6

I'm using GMedia's ImpOSCar. Works fine except with Arpeggiator patches when synced to external clock. Things seem okay until I hit record. Then the sound changes drastically. I think Acid is sending some shit to the synth it shouldn't be. Any ideas about that? Tried messing with the MIDI clock settings in Acid but no joy.

Hey there I got a question, it took me a while to know how to work VST-I instruments but I finally got to know it, but now the problem is when I hit my keyboard with the vsti sound it react a little bit to late do you know what the prob is? btw I use Acid Pro 4.0 should I have a higher version?

If I use my midi keyb with the original vsti program than it runs fine.
