I owned a DC2 and now I own a SW20. I think if you compare stock to stock, MR2 will win in every category of racing. If it has any mods, I think it's up to who is messing with the car really...

@ Wetlikewater before replying to this have a look around the DC2 is more track orientated than a MR2 in everyway !!!! I no long have a DC2 so not flying the flag but they are truly amazing handling cars much better than my old Evo V or MR2 or GTiR i promise go drive one you'll see what the fuss is about :)

@ajh10317 I was building a DC2 turbo but ran into problems so sold up and started a little EG track project instead, I love MR2's but against a DC2 on track even a turbo MR2 will have big problems !!

24okay have a look around you'll find they have come along way fastest FWD honda now runs Q mile in 8.9 seconds at 170mph which is fast by any standards :)

on low boost mines 340bhp and ran a 12.8 @ 118mph on high boost it's 430bhp but havent run it yet still a few teething problems :) but i havent come across any MR2 that has come close to me :)

@Mrpulsargtir in the process of building one ;) but sounds like you have one of the better mr2's im currently running 5psi at 325 hp. aiming for a 500 hp build.

is that DC2 really turbo'd ?? beacuse a B18 with very little boost 0.7 - 0.8 psi will be around 280bhp and being 300kg's lighter than the MR2 it should have been flying past the MR2 by the line !!

lol that's where you are wrong. Compare both vehicles in a sense of being J-Spec. You are going to tell me that a 170bhp fwd piece of shit Integra can beat a 261bhp mid engine mr2? Well over here in Australia our MR2's were never turbocharged. Only the imports(through vendors after compliancing or personal imports) were turbocharged. So the JDM MR2's like my gen2 are turbo.
