yeah just 15hp more and it would be perfect...anyway the XTX is fine cause in nowadays open roads (lot of traffic, speed limits , dangers at every crossroad, you can use full throttle in any situation and feel the engine works entirely... you couldn't do with the others sports you ride this video...the mono and bicylindrics is the future...lot of fun at less rpm...

@IndioCatio how many hours can you drive a CR500 30/max 40 than you have to change the pinston.. A XT660X is a KM.miles bike not a hour bike. But you got a pont. I now have a CR250 and it drives way beter than the XT. that one was just 4 1 weekend ;)

@denniszx6rturbo the KTM 690 SMC is available here in the US yes but KTM does not have a good dealer network here in the US so depending on where you live it may be difficult to get one as there may not be any KTM dealers in your area. For the most part we are limited to the 4 major japanese brands =(

@IndioCatio The CR500 is faster sure but it is too maintenance intensive to be used as a daily bike. trying to squeeze all that power out of a smaller engine does come at a cost in that you cannot use it for commuting or long distance riding.

@IndioCatio i know what u mean, i think the tourque is the main reason it has all that horsepower. my friend has an 500cc 4 inline engine and i can beat him off the line and mines still restricted!! plus just general power, u could cruise in 4th and then give it some n it will just grumble through the gear till it hits the powerband :D

no long wheelies you can do in any gear as long a the rider know's what he/she is doing ;)
