I don't know why you find it pretentious to call myself "Sifu", because as I tranlate this word as "expert" not Grandmaster, I have been practising Tai Chi since 1984 and martial arts since I was 8 years old which will say for more than 43 years now, I find myself in this category, especially since Master Kai-Ying Tung has asked me to teach HIS FAMILY's Tai Chi.
@taijibagua04 And It's not pretentious to tell him he isn't a Sifu even when by your standards he does a good job? Can you post a video of yourself to show us how it's done. A sifu is a skilled teacher, with knowledge, and you just admitted he has both. Or do you think it's possible to do a good job and not have skill or knowledge? If you do then, maybe you aren't qualified to judge those who do have the skill and knowledge. LOL!

I am a practitioner of Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Tung style for many years, transmission of Tung Kai Ying. You do a good job.
But I find it pretentious of you to make you call "sifu"!!!!

@taijibagua04 I have no problem calling him Sifu Knud. Sifu literally means teacher. He is good at the art and teaches.
