Wonderful Erin! Your "kids" are doing SOOOOO well! It's very motivating for other young jugglers (you know who I mean) to see their progress. Thank you for posting this video. Keep up the Great Work - All of you.
w00t That's great Erin. We need more jugglers to coach others like you do. I'm amazed that you can keep them going for that long though - in my experience, they tend to lose interest when they get to 4 balls. Maybe I'm just a bad coach :/ well, you definetely must be a good one!
Yeah, it is hard to keep kids motivated sometimes. The key factors that I feel have made these kids stick with it are: #1 They think juggling is cool. #2 They're close friends and live near eachother. #3 They have performance/video opportunities that motivate them to practice. #4 Their parents pay me - so they better practice. :) #5 They have a lot of support and encouragement from me and their families. #6 We always have a LOT of fun. I'd say that about sums it up.
You kids are going to become famous if you keep up all this incredible juggling. Can I have your autographs before you get too big, and Amanda, can I have that sweater when you're done :) Miss all of you!
I, too, have to teach math (but to high schoolers). Try starting a juggling club, I was able to get one going my first year, and there was more than enough interest, even at the high school level! Best of luck!
I teach high school too. Some times I show short juggling clips at the end of class. Joe, my students have seen and enjoyed some videos you did with Michael Karas. Erin, They love the one where you dance!
Such an inspiring video! Great job in helping your kids to see how wonderfully FUN juggling can be!

#1: Yeah, they kinda seem more motivated if that's the case :P too bad it's appearently something they think from before you start teaching, yes?
#2: *obviousness*
#3: Cool. Now just to have them willing to do that.
#4: NICE. Where I live, there are so few people that the interest is low enough for people to not bother if it's not free :/
#5: Now does that help? Hehe - I think that's been one of MY major encouragements.
Oh by the way, I should have said... you're a good coach - for a girl ;P
