  • If u were in his place, with that attitude of yours, your legs would be weak in 1 millisecond. So before you talk about other's achievements and their worth think about your own. Are you in that place to talk? That's one of the lessons i've learned from him. its called compassion and I myself am one example of peace and i strongly believe that m not the only one.

  • He didn't self immolate because he's not living for himself, He is living not only for the couple thousand Tibetans but for the 17 billion people in this earth and yes including you. He understands his duty towards the world. He spreads the message of love, compassion and peace and you can see it through his work. The weight on his shoulders are immense but looking at him, no one would know that because he's used to it. His whole life has been for others.

  • @saranghyeyo860 for your knowledge there are only 7 billion people on this earth.

  • @colporteur999 howca u tell for fact?? have u done the counting urself..and if u think about it..he has also impacted people are not alive today..but i meant to say 7 as well :p

  • What is so great about Dalai Lama?

Has he made any place peaceful? No. Then, how did he receive Nobel Peace Prize?

He is believed to be the God incarnate. Where is the evidence?

A Tibetan Buddhist priest burned herself alive in protest against Chinese oppression. Why did Dalai Lama not stop her from committing suicide in vain?

Why did he not do it himself if self-immolation was effective to achieve peace in Tibet?

He is only taking advantage of this madness to promote himself.

  • @fastballonly What is so great about HHDL? you are alive and commenting here against him, that itself is a gift from HHDL, you will never know what a Tibetan can do for him. If he ever tells tibetans to take arms, there will be no selff-immolation, but will burn china and chinese including you and you all will be a forgotten history right at that moment. So be thankful to HH who always preaches peace and compassion, tolerance and friendship.

  • @MsKushh Why is the fact that I am alive a gift from Dalai Lama? Explain how. Also answer my questions above. Then we can start a discussion.

    I will restate the questions.

Has he made any place peaceful?

He is believed to be the God incarnate. Where is the evidence?

I have the answers ready. If you are interested, answer my questions in your own words.

  • hey, yr misconceived thoughts are predominantly concealing the truth.....because, HHDL is the mediator between non violence and modern society......he teaches compassion and non-violence globally.....please stop using derogatory remarks on others when you don't have a clue what you are talking about....have some respect!

  • @shoringtsang No one has the duty to pay respect by default to anyone. Especially just because he/she is a religious figure.

YOU have no clue what freedom of speech is.

  • @shoringtsang If you would like to make a point more coherently and properly, try answering the questions I raised above to MsKushh, who apparently became silent since.

If you can answer these questions with sound logic based on evidence, then I will listen to you. If your answers happen to be correct, I am even prepared to change my perspective.

    Let's bring it on.

  • by the way, guess you are clearly ignorant of the facts that HHDL wasn't present when she did it .......infact, he was disheartened and consoled not to do so.....but some TIbetans show their emotions through their actions.....so who's running out of facts??

  • @shoringtsang If Dalai Lama is a symbol of peace and non-violence, knowing he is the leader of Tibetan Buddhism, why did he not stop her from self-immolation? It is a gruesome, extremely painful action which breeds nothing but attention and horror.

What was accomplished by this suicide?

    NOTHING!!

  • @fastballonly well, he is not only a Tibetan Buddhist figure but also an human being....regarding on the self-immolation issues, most happened in Tibet....n H.H. wanted it not to prevail....but he can't travel to Tibet due to Chinese oppressive power....could you please arrange that first?? then let's talk about it.......or else it would have made an impact on them....by the way, those Tibetans are doing it solely for their country and H.H. has done whatever he could.......stop disrespecting

  • @shoringtsang So what? Dalai Lama is supposed to be the God's incarnate. He does not have to be in Tibet to save that poor woman who burnt herself.

Stop disrespecting? As I stated already, no one has to respect anyone or anything by default. That is the freedom of speech, freedom of expression.

After all, this pathetic money-monger priest took advantage of a human barbeque for his own fame as "messenger of peace".

    Your argument is too shallow.

  • @fastballonly n yrs?? plz it doesn't hold any stance.....don't have to say anything but respect people not only by their stature but because of their contribution towards the society which is on the brink of collapse

  • @shoringtsang On what basis do you insist that Dalai Lama deserves respect by default? Or anyone else for that matter. What society do you mean is "on the brink of collapse"? You need to elucidate your remark before you make any sense or point.

  • @fastballonly Are you stupid mate? then what is the point of us existing in this world if some higher beings does everything around?

after all, you are probably under one of those Chinese Internet Police or what ever it's called that gets paid to write all those stuffs.

Therefore, your argument is too shallow.

  • @Nyiterow1 You must have a whole new connotation of the word "stupid" down under, MATE. First, answer my question. I will restate it.

" On what basis do you insist that Dalai Lama deserves respect by default?"

I am Japanese, not a Chinese under such internet surveillance, nor am I getting paid for posting a remark.

Answer my question first. Then I will listen to the rest of what you have to say.

Highly unlikely that you can answer it though.

Come on Aussie or Kiwi, let's bring it on.

  • @fastballonly You are blind as well. I said you stupid mainly for your statement on ''after all, this pathetic money-monger priest.. etc.'', I don't see why he would give away all the money prize he got from Nobel Peace Prize to poor kids in India, and for your information, I am an pure Tibetan born in UK. And He deserves respect because of his work on WORLD PEACE not only for Tibetans. Respect is something you have to earn. another notion that is unknown to the like of yours.

  • @Nyiterow1 First, you still haven't answered my question. Second, another question arises from your comment. Where did Dalai Lama achieve peace in this world? Nobel Peace prize is nothing more than a political formality. Third and worst of all, if you are a "pure Tibetan", then you completely misassess the situation.

Respect is to be earned? Clearly Dalai Lama has not earned it, for there is no track record. He is a bigot whose only interest seems to be to maintain his own fame with no action.

  • @fastballonly Clearly you are working under the Chinese governments and gets paid to comment bigoted rubbish like these. Therefore i am not going to argue with a hard headed stupid like you.

  • @Nyiterow1 Are you going to answer my question, or not? Until then, there is no point in listening to your nonsensical and delusional, highly speculative and preposterous comments.

Your only defense is apparently ad hominem. A common reaction of a crackpot who is cornered into illogicality.

  • @shoringtsang I does not matter that Dalai Lama wasn't present when she burnt herself, does it? He is God's reincarnate. He is the leader of Tibetan Buddhism. If that were true, which I very much doubt it is, then Dalai Lama should have been able to intervene or stop her.

Now answer my questions. Then we can continue our discussion.

Don't dodge the questions. They are pretty simple ones.

  • @fastballonly i can smell shugten rat here ...

  • 谢谢 您 达赖喇嘛Tanks~~dalai lama

  • 谢谢 您 达赖喇嘛

  • "Some people think that causing pain to others may lead to their own happiness, or that their own happiness is of such importance that the pain of others is of no significance but this is clearly shortsighted."

"No one truly benefits from causing harm to another being."

Thank you for sharing his holiness' message to all beings :)

    may all beings be happy
