Classic Scene of the Movie "2001 A Space Odyssey"

From Stanley Kubrick, the greatest director of all time, the most iconic scene in movie history. I remember as a boy of 14 watching this at the movies and immediately had an epiphone. The "Monolith", a supreme being, and then this scene when the apee throws that bone in the air. I am a Christian but no legalist. Please no creationistic blather and scripture from a book written by men in back rooms in the 5th and 6th century which does not make it holy. What happened to the Apocrypha?
