I work in a child care centre in the 0-2 year old room so I know what they can be like when playing with the toys. Everyone in the cinema was laughing because it's a funny scene. I was laughing because it's both funny and very true ;).
why didnt the teachers just tell the young children to play nicing i'm a teacher and theirs a lot of rough playing kids their about 3 years old and tell them to playing and put them in time-out the teachers should of done that and the toys wouldnt be played rough like that
Did anyone else see the nod to John Lasseter's short film "Tin Toy" at 0:46? :D Those are the same models they used, and that's the very same thing the toys were doing at the time! Although in the short, they were running from an actual baby. :D
I'm sorry but i hate these kids. You don't ride rex like a hippity hop. You don't paint Jessie like brush. YOU NEVER LICK BUZZ's HELMET and among other terrible ways to treat the toys. I guess Woody will be the only "clean" character.
@chrispnle In addition, you don't stick the Little Green Men into Slinky, you don't try to stuff Mr and Mrs Potato Head's parts into your mouth or nose, you NEVER put glue, glitter and crap into Hamm, and you NEVER use Buzz Lightyear as a freakin' hammer!
Note to self: Keep toys to self or donate to OLDER children. Gosh!
@bugsplee50 Lotso made it happen because I've read the book and found out they were put in the caterpillar room but in the butterfly room the kids treat the toys gentle which proves that Lotso tricked them
@Stuingtion No. Daisy and her family made it happen. They are the evil ones behind this. They coldly left Lotso, Chuckles and Big Baby behind in the countryside and they didn't have the gull to pick them up. They're the ones that turned Lotso evil!!! Blame them, not Lotso.
This is going to sound pathetic of me, but I was literally covering my eyes at some parts of that scene. When I watched the previews, I took it as a joke on the movie's part. Watching the full scene now (the soundtrack certainly helped it along), I was terrified for them.
@ToyStoryVids11496 Yep that's what I heard. Almost every scene when you see how those daycare monsters are handling the Toys happened in Real Life. PIXAR even had to tone it down for the film.
Awww, I feel so sorry for the toys! Word of Mouth: PIXAR actually donated real Toy Story toys to local daycare centers and videotaped how they were handled by children.
@ToyStoryVids11496 Ya because this is just a movie All Toy Story toys are alive I had a plastic Woody once and I lose it I think he ran away I guess to get back to Andy.

the toys got zerg-rushed. LITERALLY. I never knew the horde of those little kids was more terrifying than the swarm of Zerg from StarCraft.
FullmetalLakers824 1 year ago
Painful to watch ... Andy's toys should have awaken right in front of these brats, exactly like Woody did with Sid.

At 1:00 and 1:12 doesn't the little girl look like Boo from Monsters Inc? i swear it does
musixbby714 1 year ago
@musixbby714 No, Boo (if that is in fact her) appears in the other room - among the well-behaved children, playing with other toys gently,
