Sorry, but you have the wrong idea of Pakistan. I am Pakistani living in the UK, and I visit Pakistan very often. Women over there DO wear t-shirts and jeans and are very educated, and most of them have the freedom to work. I agree that in Afghanistan women don't have much opportunities, but Pakistan is very different from Afgh.

Thanks Amina Khan, for your excellent community service. If we look at it, she can choose to live isolated life, like most of us Pakistanis do anyway, but she took the moral high ground and is doing the best to present the community in a positive way.

I live in Michigan, and I see Labanese Arab American Community that is very well established in US, and I think Labanese have similar strong institutional bonds in US and they are the oldest Muslim group almost 100 years.
