  • That little kid's got rhythm in this video.

  • Fastest twostep I ever did was to this song.

  • magbrown1 the reason this guy isn't big in country music is because of people like Taylor Swift-Rascal Flatts-Kenny Chesney and all the other "Country Stars"

  • BRILLIANT ☺ ♥ ♫ ♪

  • Thank you for posting the video, I have been looking for this for near on 20 years. Brought a tear to my eye to see the Man in Black in action. P.S. Martin Delray Rocks!!!

  • Martin's music has always been heavily influenced by Cash. This was the first song Martin chose for his debut album on Atlantic in '91. During the recording sessions, Cash's brother, Tommy, played Martin's version for John. John was so impressed that he asked to be included in the project. Of course, Martin was thrilled and honored to have his music idol collaborate with him! He first met JR the day of the video, as the vocals were recorded separately - Martin's in N'ville and Cash's in LA.

  • this is a great song. i've been looking for this version for a long time. thanks for posting it.

  • Love it!!!!

  • "NICE" RIP JRC!!!

  • Martin hit #27 in Billboard, 5-4-91. Good to see the Man in Black in it. God bless! RIP, Johnny!

  • I only like it because johnny cash is in it...

  • would have clicked dislike if Johnny was'nt in this

  • A fun song ,but special because of Johnny Cash appearing in it.

  • X L ENT!!!

  • This is awesome! Johnny Cash is a true classic and I will never stop listening to his music.

  • I had this song stuck in my head all day. I remember this version from nearly 20 years ago. It took me awhile to find it here! Thanx for posting it! And Johnny Cash moon walking at the end....that is the icing on the cake! LOL! 5 stars

  • yeah get rhythm !

  • This is such a kickass remake or Johnny Cash's original for several reasons, first the guitar playing by Martin Delray punches up, and fills in some of the gaps in what the original had, secondly it benefits from the increase in tempo, thirdly it works really well as a duet, and Martin Delray just has a great voice. I wonder whatever happened to him. And lastly, the instrumentation just sounds so much better, it makes me want to dance every time I hear this version.

  • They make the shoeshine boy a clean, affluent-looking white boy so that the song won't seem "racially insensitive."

As if a boy who looks like that would be out in the street shining shoes!

  • It's a music video. It's an art form. Too bad all you saw was the color of skin.

  • This video has way more class because the one and only Johnny Cash made an appearance.

  • I agree with fridaylightsnight.

Johnny made all the difference.Great seeing all those people dancing.

    Thanks for this.

  • Great video! Love watching them dance!

  • . I jus learnt n confirmed dat he(da shoeshine boy) is none other dan currently one of the best dancers in the world.. NICHOLAS BASS... one of da "THIS IS IT" dancers selected... GOD BLESSSSSSS NICK BASS INSPIRATION

  • Nice video of John. Too bad, this was a time when John's career wasn't doing it's best, and he just wanted to get in and record.

  • I agree with you, I like his music, discovered him as a teenager in the 1990s, was lucky enough to see him in concert about 1996 or so...It's a shame that country music abandoned its elders..now country is just another form of teeny-bopper music
