Qantas aircrafts comes in to other destinations with tonnes of defects even being released from home base Australia. Need i say more. Its just airline rivalry. Aircraft maintenence in asia meets international standards. So dont listen to the crap

Those pictures could have just been forged! Would qantas actually release those photos? I highly doubt it. Would a qantas engineer release it? they probably wouldn't because they would most likely lose their job.

This video is stupid like most of today tonights stories. Airlines like Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Cathay Pacific, etc have all got very good safety records and the public have complete confidence in their safety.

Airline crashs are rare, high quality stories from today tonight are even rarer!

I agree. Most of the accusations of SIA EC are false, and ones that are true are out of context and blown out of proportion. Aussies are very proud of Qantas and are just completely outraged over the outsourcing of maintenance-its not cost cutting, its just efficiency. Cheaper price, same quality. Sounds good to me.

I haven't seen a Singapore Airline aircraft has any accidents or hiccups, Im not sure if the photos are genuine.
