  • I know but the others around me kept on calling him Dr. House (some people live in the world of telly :) ). I was only yelling Mr. Laurie but he couldn't hear it :P. Shame

  • were they english or foreign?

i thought english people would rather know him as hl or bertie wooster

  • The girl screamin was German and too young to know who Wooster or The Honourable George if Germany had those series at all...we did in Hungary thankfully :))) but I still call him Mr. Laurie because my Moma thaught me to call people by their names :)))

  • We did have Blackadder, but I can't remember when it was last televised. Bad dubbing, too.

Even non-verbal Mr Bean isn't known to many teenagers anymore now.

"because my Moma thaught me to call people by their names" - that sounds so sweet, but i would have done exactly the same for exactly the same reason!

  • Oy, we had the same problem with dubbing. Thankfully I could get the original on ebay and it's much more enjoyable, understandably :P.

Well, as we say the sure sign of getting older is when your favourites are only available on the 'classics' section of DVDs :))) but I still love Blackadder. Mr Bean not much but I still know what it is :)
