I have been to Patmos, Rhodes, Athens, and a few other small Dodecanese Islands. I want so much (huge understatement) to go back to Patmos! If you are planning a trip, definitely keep that island in mind, especially if you are interested in holy sites!
Nice video. But I would like to comment on the text at the very end (which says "the more catholic the better). Actually, the opposite is true. The less catholic the better as we return to a more true form of Christianity as originally preached by John and the other apostles.
weird because this monastery is orthodox not catholic. but your right the last pope put a statue on the altar and this pope denys that the bread and wine become the body and blood, total heretics!
