I chose him because I researched all the other doctors in Mexico; and always found a "long absence" in their medical reviews or negative comments on the internet. Dr. Joya had positive comments going back to 2004. Also the person who organizes the travel and paperwork is an American and easy to work with. It was actually my doctor in the US who said I should have the surgery and was ok with my going overseas for it; said he had other patients who had great experiences doing it this way.
Congradulations!! I do have a question, how did you come to choose Dr. Joya over any other doctor? Did you call his office directly? Did you discuss this with your doctor prior to going to Mexico.
Glad to see you have a good exsperience, So sad though that people like us have tgo go that far to be able to aford to live a healthy life. Nice that your family was able to join you. I am having my surgery in Boston, so I will not have company, but I will have my cell phone(LOL), Take care-Marie
