I'm not into slow sentimental or torn soul stuff. I usually just skip those tunes on the CDs. There are exceptions though, like Alice in Chains and few others have a way with me.
But I understand doing all kinds of stuff when you a have an acoustic in your hands. And also, although we all have our preferences, music is music, and when you love music, well... it is quite normal to widen your horizons once in a while.

Its about this time that guys who don't play guitar or sing break stuff, I much prefer your way though. I've always liked the subtlety brought to the dance by acoustic guitars, you should do more of these, even if you choose to do them without singing.
