I heard the episodes of the UK version use the same scripts from the U.S. version. seeing as the U.S scripts get ideas from ripped from real headlines in the U.S, I figured the U.K. version would do the same and get ideas from real headlines in the U.K.
Wow, great cast. Freema's talent complements her beauty. She was sensational as Dr Who companion Martha Jones and Jamie was great as Lee in BattleStarGalactica. Laffington: you weren't distracted by the beauty of models/beauty queens: Angie Harmon, Melina Govich, Jill Hennesey, Alana DeLa Garza, and Elisabeth Rohm? C'mon, I'll bet you were! :)
@hifly1231 Yeah, it's certainly similar as the U.S. followed the U.K. model of combining common and statute laws but there are all kinds of procedural differences between being a District Attorney (or their employee) and a Crown Prosecutor, as well the areas of jurisdiction are quite different as the U.S. has a federal system and the U.K. doesn't. Freema's obviously not a lawyer, but it seems like she was probably at least briefed on some of the issues during her research for the show.
