  • This is lovely!

  • Wallie is a very smart pony. That's quite impressive how fast he picks up new things.

  • Lovely, this is how all children should learn to be with ponies and horses!

  • My first pony used to do that sometimes! He was taught to 'beg' by raising a front leg long before we got him. You could point at a front leg, say "Flint, beg" and he would do so. Occasionally he would place both front feet in front of him and put his head between his knees, but only if he felt like it :P

  • that is so cute! Never seen such a small pony doing clicker training befre :-)

  • Small ponies love clicker! It's a great motivational tool for helping them not developing so many typical naughty pony habits.

  • Wow this channel is so cool. I just started learning how to ride and i'm hoping of becoming a horse trainer when i'm older. These videos are so cool, you are very good at what you do.

  • This is FANTASTIC work!

Go Wally and his competent teachers!!!

  • Thanks! He and Zoey are so cute together.

  • That is absolutely adorable. Can I come visit next time I am in Bend?!

  • Absolutely. Just email me to let me know when you're coming.

  • i used to work at a thoroughbred barn, one morning i woke up at 5,went down to the barn nd flipped on the lights,a huge 17hh TB woke up and stretched long and low like a cat-his owner never beleived it.

  • Funny! Some horses do it almost every time they get up fater laying down.

  • That's a smart pony!

I used to have a horse who loved to do a front crunch right before mealtime. She figured it out on her own after taught to bow with one leg as a baby.

  • Nice! Yeah, Wallie is off the charts smart... smart enough that his old owner thought he was slow, actually! He's clever enough to fake it, lol

  • Oh goodness!! Absolutely LOVED this video!! My horse LOVES to stretch including this same front crunch! I call it the cat stretch because it reminds me of the same stretch my cats do after they get up from a nap...LOL! I never thought about teaching him to do it on cue but it's a GREAT idea!! Thanks for sharing this video!! I'm excited to work with my horse on this too!! :)

  • Nice, cat stretch! That's an easy to remember name! Thanks, we will totally use that now.
