@oblambo nah he didn't kill the kid. that cat was just an asshole. he didn't really kill anything that moved. he was a genetically engineered dog that was splice w/ the dna of other animals and made really intelligent. It makes more sense if u watch it. he killed for different reasons not indiscriminately. He was really protective of the lady that rescued him and didn't like her boyfriend, so when he tried to poison him, he figured out what he was doing and kill him. stuff like that

This sci-fi (not horror) movie is called Mans Best Friend about a genetically enhanced dog. DNA from various animals have been spliced into the dogs DNA giving him that ability to climb like a panther and eat like a python etc.
