This video uploading is a very good idea it is wonderful to be able to listen to the lectures even when we stay far away ..here we don't get many oppurtunity to hear swamiji's lectures. I have always desired to hear the lectures again esp to sink in everyword spoken this will help me listen to the lectures . Swamiji's often cites simple day to day examples to explain the deeper meanings that is what makes listening so interesting .
Dear Friends: Thank you so much for posting this video !!! Swami Bhaskaranananda is such a wonderful being. Love from Brazil. Patricia, Gilberto and Family.
Thanks for posting this informative video. This video has helped me understand what is meditation. I look forward to reading Swamiji's book "Meditation, mind and Patanjali's yoga", and also future video postings on this topic.
How refreshing, in a world obsessed with instant gratification, to hear a spiritual teacher forthrightly proclaim that no lasting benefit is possible without intense effort over time! Swami Bhaskarananda's words carry the weight and conviction that come only through realization -- we in the West are fortunate indeed a few like him are available to explain and interpret for us the great spiritual traditions of the East.
Swamiji's explanation was very lucid and simple. Thanks to everyone involved in putting out this video presentation. His insistence upon practicing meditation everyday for a minimum of ½ hr to an hour and also his comment that "Those who give false hopes about quick results are not speaking the truth" puts things into a good perspective (particularly for those who want to be sincere about attaining success in meditation).

Thank you for the helpful information. It's nice to find a realistic perspective on an often misrepresented subject.
