Im a firefighter in Kansas City and i also love tornadoes. Whenever there is big "one" in kansas most likely i'll be there performing search and rescue. What was the fire off to the left?
You know, I'm really not sure what that fire was. I think it was a farmer burning off old tires or old gas. It was a big flame, but seemed to be under control. I was kind of busy looking straight ahead at what we were driving into!
It was pretty crazy. Jetmore did get hit pretty bad. I know someone from Jetmore got a hail stone that was bigger than a baseball. Besides the superficial damage from the hail we were pretty lucky.
whoa! What was that like? How bad did Jetmore get hit? We were positioned to the southwest of the town so we didn't get a chance to get back into the area after the storm passed.
I would probably die BEFORE the tornado hit due to extreme hyperventilating and panic attack. XD

I just saw a video on a micro-burst... Those shits might be WAY more scary than a tornado. The wind comes suddenly and HARD AS HELL

I worked at the sheriff's dept in Jetmore at the time of the storm and went into help with the radio after they sounded the tornado siren.
