You should probably look into statistics, such as Emelyanenko has sustained less strikes per minute than every other fighter in the history of MMA. Way less than BJ Penn, much less than GSP, less than Anderson Silva, and even less than Lyoto Machida. He just rarely ever gets hit. He moves incredibly fast for his size, and dodges punches moving backward constantly.

Brett is powerful and has a chance, I'm even worried for Fedor, but I think he will be overwhelmed by Fedor's speed and agility.

Arlovski was landing at will? If you check the replay slowly you'll see that almost all of Arlovski's strikes missed by 1-2 inches. Two pointers to anybody fighting Fedor

1) don't grab him, you'll end up on your ass

2) no straight punches from the guard

Karate sucks. Just because augmented Machida Karate is effective (when machida uses it) doesent mean it will work when ANYONE else attempts it.

the arlovski KO wasnt flukeish. secondly fedor is great at Submissions and punching. thirdly, theres zero difference between fighting in the ring (amybe some minor rule change that wont have an effect on anyone's performance).

Fedor is not brown belt in everything. He is best in the world at Sambo. And i think BLACK belt at judo.

And SAMBO is not a weaker art. Its besicely jujitsu only more flexible in techniques. And about standing look at arlovski fight, sylvia, crazy cowboy ore something, naguira. i agree that rogers is lose/lose for fedor. but i think the person who had the best chance to beatg fedor was arlovski. i dont think he was threatening to KO fedor at all, but his speed and stand-up was proving good enough that he could have jabbed his way to a decision. plus fedor's trainers admitted how preoccupied hed been with the movie and how little training hed done. THAT was the shot to beat fedor. i think that fight woke him up a little, and no hes gonna train hard and demolish rogers.
