  • 可以教我正體字嗎?

    謝謝 : )

  • 谢谢您班尼 ^^

  • Japanese: easiest to speak, hard to read

Chinese: Hard to read, Hard to pronounce, easy to make sentences

    Korean: easiest to read...

    right?

  • I don't understand why people think Chinese is so hard. It's simple 1 syllable stuff. And there are no crazy word cells or trick pronunciations like the Latin languages, you can read a word and pronounce it instantly. And it's very important since China is becoming a big part of USA's economy.

  • 大家好!I am getting taught Mandarin Chinese at school this year, anyone else taking classes?

  • @AlimeProductions yes in a few weeks i'll be beginging mandarin.. seems like a cool language to learn!

  • @laurencec09 Oh it's very easy, and also could be very important too! It's only hard when people forget the tones, and those symbols can be hard to remember too. But if people in China can memorize them, we can too. I have been in a class in my high school for Mandarin for 2 months now, and I know over 40 simple sentences and over 40 symbols.

  • Love your energy!

Mandarin's not your first language, right? Your pronunciation seems pretty standard, but when you put complete sentences together . . . it seems forced. But, maybe that's just because you're teaching/being recorded.

Just curious! Just wondering! (Hope you don't mind).

  • ty so much.

  • did you know that "Comment pending approval" in Chinese means "Fashion critic wait nuclear level" in Japanese? haha

  • I like chinese language so much.I am a Filipino but it is easy for me to pronounce their language:))

  • I'm probably going to end up going to Taiwan not knowing much Mandarin..

Watch me say some sort of insult without knowing it and get my ass kicked. D:

...I can so see it happening.. T__T'

*sigh* I suck at languages... I'm taking German, and even that's hard for me. :/

I heard Mandarin has closer grammar to English though, so maybe it'll be easier..

  • @KikyoChanXD It's not that hard, it's can be very easy if your remember the tones and pinyin. One time, I said "gōu" which means "hook" instead of "gǒu" which means "dog" when I was trying to say what my dog's name was. I said "My hook's name is Ava."

  • what is difference among "xihuan", "yao" and "xiang"?

  • @huongvanusc

hi.i am not a native speaker, but i hope this helps.

    as far as i know,

    "xihuan" means "like".

    "yao" means "want"

    "xiang" means think"..

    :):):)

  • @huongvanusc

in different Sentence has different means.

  • 什 should be said like shí?

  • Chinese:我是一个中国男孩

PinYin:wo shi yi ge zhong guo nan hai

    means:i am a Chinese boy.

i have to learn English. ------ a Chinese boy

  • xie xie lǎoshī.......

  • FUCK yeah!!! From Taylor's

  • (pauses at 1:20) wo yao cha mai?

  • ham sap lao

  • very good teacher!! Good for the prononciation and repeat 2 times

  • Thankyou! I'm learning chinese now.

  • wo yao cao ni de 我要操你的

  • You dummy, all you should have asked was how to say "love" in Chinese.

    "I or me" is "wo"

    "want to" is "yao"

    "you" is "ni"

but you didn't even take the time to pay attention to the videos, so this is kind of pointless. I'm just glad to know I'm learning Mandarin.

  • 谢谢您!I took mandarin in college for one semester but want to learn more and unfortuneatly don't have the time to take another class(no related to my major) This helps alot! :)

  • This is awesome, he states it so bluntly.

    "What do you want?!" Awesome.

    I'm watching these, so cool

  • wo ai ni,..,...

  • Zang!

  • omg thank you so much benny!!!

  • nihao:)

  • Benny's great! Great video!

Watch my videos to learn Mandarin Chinese. I love teaching it to people! =)

  • Also, if there are more than 2 consecutive words with third tones, every word before the final third tone becomes 2nd tone.

    Example: wo3 ye3 hen3 hao3. (I am also very well). Should say "wo2 ye2 hen2 hao3."

  • Something he forgot to mention in this video: Wo3 ( I / me) and ni3 (you) are third tone words. Xi3 huan1 (like) begins in third tone. Ni and Wo should become second tone ni2 / wo2.

When two words that have third tone combine, the first word changes to second tone. another example: "ni3 hao3 ma?" becomes "Ni2 Hao3 ma?"

But he spoke very slowly, so the tones did not change.

  • this is great really helpful. The problem is when someone else says it they're experienced with chinese so they speak faster and its hard to catch what they say

  • this is really helpful:)

    keep posting videos!:D

  • the lesson is great u guys..

  • when you hear someone speak mandarin can you pick up anything they are saying or are both languages pretty much different

  • oh my got Im all mixed up. very difficult language.but I want learning.how I can? :(

  • what does ma mean?

  • means your asking a question

  • it can also mean "mother", "horse", "hemp", or "scold" depending on how you pronounce it

  • this is also the language of s.h.e.??

  • ahaha yes it is ^^ :)

    u know she !!! haohao :D

  • mandarin

  • this is fun!!!

  • I really appreciate mandarin as it is very straight forward. there is no unnecessary nonsense. and despite its clearity it possesses a beautiful intricacy which alludes to its historical roots.

  • @hxasmirl and it's much more pleasing to the ears than southern dialects like cantonese

  • Yeah it's easy for chinese like me, thanks!!!^^

  • wow I`ve been never seen this part before.

  • I like you lessons a lot :). In conjunction with my books, your videos work well. You make it easy to rememeber straight ofd :D.

  • why do the dashes on top of the "o" in "wo" change? Are there different pronunciations depending on the situation? Such as at 2:34 and 0:32

  • Comment removed

  • yes its a pronunciation/spelling rule. whenever a 3rd tone is followed by another 3rd tone, for example wǒ xǐ huan, the 1st word would be pronounced/spelled with a 2nd tone wó xǐ huan.

  • error

  • Wow Benny you are sucha fast to answear...

    and Im only a beginner

what hard for me is learning the calligraphy is that what you call it

  • With the appearance of computer, even more and more Chinese people have less time to write instead of typing. So calligraphy is not the hard part for only foreigners.
