one of the best books i've read in a while. great story, although i feel they could have extended it a bit if Bonvilain didn't die, or had family somehow. i really want a movie or sequel! very, very well done.

I frankly loved this book, I'm not a big fan of longer story's and this book is certainly a quick read but it had a great plot and decent characters. Although truth be told I was a little surprised to find this in the "advanced readers" section of my library. Eolin Colfer did a great job with this book and I'm ecstatic about the possibility of a movie coming out in 2011.

i read this book in less than 24 hours! it's really amazing, and I think that there should be a sequel. And yes, this book could be an awesome book, and Eoin Colfer is a great writer.

24 hour?? i bought it yesterday, started reading at 17.00. and ended at 00.15 and hadnt read for 1.5 hours because of dinner and that sort of things!! =P, its btw even better then artemis fowl!!! =D

and it would be a sad thing if they didnt make a movie about it =(, if they dont i might gonna do it myself when im old enough to make a proper movie =P

"An Artemis Fowl movie has been confirmed by Eoin Colfer. It is scheduled to be released in 2008.

In a recent AFC interview, Colfer stated that the screenplay was still being written, but pre-production was at a standstill because of the recently-ended WGA strike.

Colfer desribes the charecters in his books with great meaningful care. He works hard on his books and I think he's very imgainitive. But alough the worlds he builds are unusual they always tell a story that makes me more and more intrested in his books. Amazing auther if I do say so myself.
