  • the guy was funny, yes a mackem by birth, but a damn funny guy who made us all laugh.

  • Showing a bit of class there ey Geordie boy?

To clear it up, Bobby was born a few hundred yards from the River Wear so he's a Wearsider that is not in doubt. He uses the word "tak" so one would assume he's a Mackem and Tackem in your world.

"ganning " is a word that's used throughout Durham, Tyneside and Northumberland NOT just in the smaller of the north easy cities, Newcastle.

Enjoy Bobby for what he is, a product of Wearside and County Durham just like the rest of us from Sunderland

  • @mackemmotormouth all admit hes class but newcastle have better products and bobby loved to be round newcastle

  • It's not geordie or mackem; it's pit-yaka, from the East Durham coal villages.

  • even I can understand his accent....im a geordie and he IS speaking goerdie...maybe from sunderland but that doesnt make him not bein geordie.....

  • @youngelvisnightowls hes not speaking geordie , thats pure mackem dialect

  • @NatJamSte sound the same in a way i think.....i mean im a geordie but i speak like he does all the time :)

  • GENIUS.

  • There's no Geordie lingo on show in this or any other Bobby Thompson clip. He was a Wearsider!

  • @mackemmotormouth gannin is geordie u mackem cunt

  • Remember Phylis and Gladys? and the old Viaduct pub!!! So long ago but still like yestertday in the mind. David Hinge
