thanks for the heads up.. time to fry some fry pan sales people ;) although i am akin to believe that far far less PTFE would come into digestion from this Diamond coated pan..

I just got a Swiss Diamod too, they are great non-stick pan. I agreed with most of your comment until I heard "no more dupont teflon crap...organic eggs on teflon.."

I'm paraphrasing here but you need to know that SD pan contains PTFE, which is basically what Teflon is. The only chemical free pan you can cook in is stainless steel or cast iron....

Seriously it is so worth it to pay more for your cookware from quality manufactures it may last a lifetime, should we not only buy things once/ not cheap crap over and over?
