Kiki!!! Bad cat! unfortunately, felines are SMART and they can and will do all sorts of tricks like this....SCARY! I am so glad you were there when she did it! once, one of mine opened the fridge.....got in and the door closed and he was in there for about 40 minutes! It's hard to outsmart them sometimes! My stove is similar to yours and all burners have dials like that. stove is Off limits completely!
OMG! you & that cat are sure lucky! The best thing is a kitchen door that closes securely. I told u she was gonna get mad at all those frozen dinners she couldn't share :-)
Maybe I simply need to unplug the stove. I never use it anyway.

You're so right! My kitchen has no door. It is open to my living room, one of those open concept jobs.
