She did the song a step lower... it's not surprising... she tours alot and almost every one of her songs has high belting in it.... she needs to go easy on her voice so she can get through her tours and concert.... she sounded great here... the lower version is nice... she struggled getting into that one little head voice, but all her high belting was fine

when you watch vids from her concerts from AlEW tour you can hear that this raspy voice has changed into something what sounds more deeper, what makes her vocals even more good.

I personally love her sound from My December, it suits the record very well.

I don't know if you people notice how her voice has changed since American Idol.

the way she sounds on Thankful is completely different from what you can hear on All I ever wanted. MD was that album when her voice has changed. she was 20 on AI and now she's almost 28 - so it's a natural thing for voice to change. Besides she never lypsync and always goes live, as she says in many intervievs -she loves being on tour (especially, that before MD came out, she did about 4 tours from Breakaway).

ah its a sad song to sing, and i think she was sick or something, i do not think kelly has that kind of attitude and would not do that to her fans, its an amazing performance and it doesnt sound like she is rushing it it sounds like she is saving and putting emotion into it

You can tell she was sick during this performance, her voice sounded deeper and her voice cracked when she sang "wake up".

But she's forgiven, she's always on tour so of course her voice is going to give out every now and then. Even then, this is still a better live performance than I hear from most other artists.

This concert was at the end of a very long and busy Australian promo tour. Kelly and the band were probably exhausted, so performing like this was a miracle.

I love Kelly, she is ALWAYS live, so sometimes her voice is not as good as other times. I'd still rather hear her live. She is amazing in concert.

Overall, good performance. A like the transposition in this version, it suits her voice better. She must've been really tired and/or sick when she sang this, since her voice gave out in the middle of the song, which is ok, it happens to everyone. The backing vocals sound SO much better in this version than in others, most likely due to the transposition. One thing I have to pick at is the video not being synched with the audio, that really bothers me. Other than that, everything's fine!

i think towards the middle of this concert, her voice started to give out like she failed the high notes in this song and the one in How I Feel. She also squeked when she said "Jump" before the chorus of SUBG. Other than that she rocked because DWYT and MI and 1 Minute were are great! Also BOY and Addicted and Walk Away.
