  • Everything Paicey does is so yummy!

  • Ian Paice version Tommy Bolin era

  • yeah...one-offs then give a list of one-offs he-he

  • Dat snare....o_O

  • some drummers just drum. then there are guys like ian who make the whole thing an art. i could listen to him all day

  • Who's the guitarist?

  • @tythefrog

    Miller Anderson I think.

  • AWESOME!

  • The drummer who turned me onto rock music,with".... In Rock";-)Paicey and drummers like him(Bonham,Powell,Baker,Moon,Palmer, etc.)were one-offs!!

  • Beautifully tuned kit...

  • So nice seeing Ian Paice playing this kind of music. Wish he'd do an album like this.

  • Ian Paice is Better than John Bonham!!

  • what a incredible sound , feel and groove.

  • Long live fusion jazz!! And long live Mr. Ian Paice!!

  • Long live fusion jazz!! And long live Mr. Ian Paice!!

  • I half expected James Brown to appear! Great GROOVE! He's a technical whiz but, he's at his best when he's driving the song like this. He's a freakin metronome with chops!!! Listen to "Paice, Ashton and Lord" for some of his best overall drumming EVER!

  • What a GREAT ryhtmic solo! The FINEST drummer ROCK N' Roll has ever produced!

  • Laidback.. and smooth :-) And a great sounding Peral Drumkit !

  • is that an instructional video ?

  • Left-handed guitarist was good too.

  • SHAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Greatest of all times

  • that snare sounds fantastic!!!

  • Gets a fantastic groove going and never loses it. That's how a solo is done.

  • He just makes it look so easy.......don't like the fact that he added a double pedal while back though...one thing I liked about drumemrs like Ian, Chad Smith, Vinny Appice and so on is that they stuck to the single pedal. Having said that, unlike most drummers he didn't go the double bass beat and just use that throughout the entire solo, he used it tastefully......he just simply rocks.

  • @DHRC18 damn right!

  • I concur, that snare sounds fan fuckin' tastic!

  • fucking awesome snare sound

  • Perfect. Very playful, pulsing. Thank You Marcel - and Mr. Paice.

  • Good ol' Paicey, rippin' it up as always:-) He's such a great, jazzy hard rock giant drummer!!!! Just gotta love him:-)

  • The only thing that would make this solo better would be a stripper danceing to it.

  • The one and only. So rhythmic, you can dance to it. His crashing on the ride cymbal is a jazz move. His double kick work here is reminisant of "Fireball".

  • He is the master alright.

  • Cool ass Ian Paice

  • And my too!

  • I keep listening to him for inspiration all the time

  • Excellent my Favourite Drummer

  • and mine too!
