I half expected James Brown to appear! Great GROOVE! He's a technical whiz but, he's at his best when he's driving the song like this. He's a freakin metronome with chops!!! Listen to "Paice, Ashton and Lord" for some of his best overall drumming EVER!
He just makes it look so easy.......don't like the fact that he added a double pedal while back though...one thing I liked about drumemrs like Ian, Chad Smith, Vinny Appice and so on is that they stuck to the single pedal. Having said that, unlike most drummers he didn't go the double bass beat and just use that throughout the entire solo, he used it tastefully......he just simply rocks.
The one and only. So rhythmic, you can dance to it. His crashing on the ride cymbal is a jazz move. His double kick work here is reminisant of "Fireball".
Everything Paicey does is so yummy!

The only thing that would make this solo better would be a stripper danceing to it.
