I respect the first P.R's that came to the U.S mainland, they're the ones who really suffered. We have been citizens long enough and we still have these "B.S" bilingual programs, social programs, we secure and continue with our ignorance to secure the jobs of many in the legal community. It continues to weaken us! Get rid of welfare, social programs and get to work like our fathers did. It's time to assimilate and quit playing the victim card. Then we can raise the flag with hard earned pride.
Word I like this story it educates me and to learn on how my puertoricans went through criticism and struggle and we rised up and fought back I'm proud to be puertorican I'm from newyork I'm nuyorican
