What an awesome example of early 90's thrash metal. Complex, punchy, ahead of it's time - a songwriters song. Great song from a legendary album. A top ten album for any thrash-metal-head. But for me it's not about the solos, because quite frankly, that's one of the most hardest part of a song, a solo. I used to play guitar few years ago, and I can't make make up a solo for shit, just make a songs chorus, that's about it lol I like every other thing about Slayer though, they are a great band all together.

Megadeth, Metallica, and Testament are all my favorite thrash groups. Overkill kicks major ass as well.

Testament is the most underrated thrash band ever. IMO They are just as good as Metallica, and better than the other four.

Chuck has the most powerful vocals and NO ONE in Anthrax, Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth is as good as Alex Skolnick, possibly the most technically proficient thrash metal guitarist that ever lived. Natural he'd be such a god, since his teacher was Satriani.

@iAMcooooooool Chuck, James, and Dave are a few of my favorite vocalists overall, next to Klaus Meine of Scorpions, Heri Joensen of Týr, David Lee Roth, Jerry Reed, and my personal favorite, DANNY JOE BROWN OF MOLLY HATCHET!

Alex is definitely up there in the list of greatest thrash guitarists (I would say Marty Friedman, my favorite next to Jason Becker, as well but he does MANY different styles). He and Marty sure beat Kirk overall, though, lol. Kirk is great and all, but not the best.

I also like Chet Atkins and Django Reinhardt, they're jazz guitarists but they're great as well. I like all kinds of music, really lol. You should check out the bassist, Victor Wooten. That man is a virtuoso!
