@balletwb94 actually, with the right teacher I was playing in a day. What I have yet to master is the rotational breathing- nose to mouth only- no lung involvement. Now, the digi is supposed to be a "guy think" in the tribes. MAybe that's why this female has never mastered it. :P

@garouHH no not like that at all lol, didgeridoos aren't put into caves, the oldest ones were collected in the 1800s (now in museums) and you won't find an older didgeridoo played here on YouTube :)
how is this guy a master didgeridoo player? he stops playing to catch his breath, the whole point of being a master didgeridoo player is that he doesn't stop playing, not even to catch his breath.
@FutureVegeta fair question, the answer is that this is part of Darryl's style, circular breathing is not difficult and it doesn't take a master to circular breathe for a long time, watch other videos of Darryl to see him play without stopping
@FutureVegeta He's not stopping, thats part of the authentic style of playing he is using. Traditional rhythms that are spoken into it. There's more to didjeridu than circular breathing.

@ididjaustralia Man. These guys don't appreciate a small demonstration in technique. Like all who are uneducated in music (and I'm not necessarily talking about academic education here) they want it to sound like whatever studio recorded crap they've been listening to.

I even said that I LIKED the didgeridoo when played by groups like Jamiroquai. It just needs to have some tempo behind it. Alone, it's pretty boring. It's similar to how you wouldn't comprehend the sheer musicality of something like progressive rock with groups like Gentle Giant or King Crimson. How could you when you enjoy this?

@balletwb94 actually, with the right teacher I was playing in a day. What I have yet to master is the rotational breathing- nose to mouth only- no lung involvement. Now, the digi is supposed to be a "guy think" in the tribes. MAybe that's why this female has never mastered it. :P
