But you are right, the comicpeople often just ignore Wolverines massive weight.

I believe Xavier just said once,that the only ways to kill him would be to cut his head off

OR drowning him, because he would sink like a stone. But then again you see him many times in water or lifted by people without problem.

Wolverine is far too tall in this show. He's meant to be something like half a foot shorter than Nightcrawler, and Nightcrawler is about average height. That probably sounds like fanboy nitpicking, but it's symbolic of how over-amped Wolverine is compared to everyone else in this.
