Well the paparazzi hounded her as they do with most celebs, but the press werent exactly too kind on her solo music or weight or whatever and the UK media can be quite harsh. Some of them even blamed her for the whole Rebecca Loos thing, which I thought was pretty unfair. But she sounds like a good person, mother and wife, so I hope the US media treat her different.
