It has fixed sights and the rear sight is a gro0ve which is a type sight I'm not fond of, especially since the front blade sight is to0 high. I'd recommend a Taurus 85 in .38 Special.

Heh, yep. I'm left-eye dominant. And yeah, it's 7.62x39mm (aka 7.62 M43). It was actually the large muff that made the recoil lo0k exaggerated because the left muff kept getting knocked by the stock with each shot (bit of a tongue twister there).
Hahaha, that Bud Lite had to GO!! :P Props. I actually kinda miss shooting now...my dad taught me how and took me dove hunting a couple of times, but I haven't shot my 12 gauge in a long time...Why I do believe I'll find myself a range and get back in the swing of things :D

I really the Taurus model 85, it caught attention in the movie "Hardboiled."
From what I heard, the model 85 is a much cheaper alternative the freakishly-expensive Smith & Wesson model 340.

I'm guessin' with that recoil that Century AK fires the 7.62x39 correct? The Century Golani (Israeli AK Galil) is chambered for .223 or 5.56.

City limits is a no no. Woods are legal as long as your not tresspassing and are shooting in a safe direction.
