I would need the full-size-car-lift, couldn't get use to that thing. I would like to see a full-size portable outside car lift. Now that would be kool, it would have to be built on a trailer-chasis.
Can someone explain WHY would the designer not just put 2 foot or 3 or 4 foot wide "feet" on the bottom AND have it bolted to the floor? It would be just as portable, but with the added security of knowing it won't topple over. I can not imagine doing anything "weight shifting" with this, as in taking out an engine or tranny or rear end.
Do you have technical experts in different areas that can install these lifts? Im really interested in buying one but I don't know anybody I would trust to install it. In NY btw
@geldartm Which UK distributor did you contact? You might try Liftmaster Garage Equipment Limited.
As for the locking positions, yes there is an additional locking position at 24 inches. Feel free to contact us directly with any questions: contact@dannmar.com
interested in this lift.... any idea how thick that floor is? The anchors seem to be really close to those seams. I've got saw cuts in my floor near where I'd like to mount the posts.....
@petec1972 Yes the minimum thickness of the concrete is 4". If you are concerned about where to drop the anchors, you can always email our technical experts at contact@dannmar.com.
Only thing I see incorrect in the video is bending your back to lift the arms off the floor, bend at the knees. No I don't work for OSHA.
Interesting idea though. Looks easy enough. My only issue is I am 6'5 so unless there is a taller model...it wouldn't really work in my garage. I am interested in these though
U forgot to shake the car once wheels off ground. To make sure it's safe and it wont fall on u. Better to fall 3 ins than 7 ft ... Every mechanic knows that.
seems great if youre starting your own little shop, but i dont think it would be comfortable for exhaust jobs etc,i wanna see you lift a suburban on that lol..

I've done some work to the interior of my garage, check out the progress and maybe get an idea or two (?)

A house with an attatched garage, with the garage tall enough and a fullsize lift is the only way.

Too much room for error.

@MrKaoVue
Why not? It uses the same bolting system as the full-size professional lifts found in automotive shops.
DannmarEquipment 10 months ago
@MrKaoVue why it looks 100% safe.

Is it weird to pay more attention to the garage cuz of how clean, nice and organized it is then paying attention to the lift???

Must suck if you need work under the car with a thing like that.. xD

Does it have to be bolted to the floor?
sleepless247 1 year ago
@sleepless247 Yes, It implements recessed anchor bolts so that it can be unbolted when finished.
DannmarEquipment 1 year ago
@sleepless247 if it didn't the car could easily be pushed forward or backwards. thats bad.
