Aye. I've got an XPS M1210 and it's pretty much standard thickness, but it's width is so nice and compact that I can fit it anywhere. It's smaller and lighter than 90% of the books I carry to class. :D

I'm not really a PC fanatic but I'm not a big fan of Macs... I just don't like them, and I like being in control of my PC. I don't get the uber PC fans or the uber Mac fans, it's not like the company loves you back. (I do however think the Macbook air in particular is a waste of money and the exact wrong direction development should be concerning themselves with)

see, i'm weird... i'm HUGW mac person but i CANT EFFING STAND the macbook air. i think it is a step way too far pricing something at 3k when all it can do is fit inside of an envelope. But hey, at least your not standing all alone in a corner, typing away on your linux with everybody looking at you and asking what linux is, laughing, and walking away. nothing against linux and no offense to linux people (all 2 of you)

I tried installing Linux on my external hard drive but had too many issues that I gave up for the time being. It is kind of fun though... Also Linux Ubuntu on a Sony Viao was the only laptop not be hacked recently at the Pwn to Own event. Macbook air with OS X was cracked in 10 minutes, the Dell with Vista took a day with relaxed rules and they cracked it through a flaw in Flash. The Ubuntu machine was the only left standing... But it just isn't friendly enough for me.
