Since the great turning emphasizes cultural diversity and spirituality as essential to addressing this global dilemna... it is like a flipside of what we have now. As the speaker says, people have been participating in things that are not in line with their values... very interesting....

Some really good points on global issues here. It reminds me of a video that I saw years back... I think it was called Advertising the end of the world..?... and was largely about over-consumption on a worldwide level.. and the disastrous course our planet is on. The message is that humans must take action before the planet is depleted by commercialism, misuse of resources, etc....
